  1. Just caught sight of ratso Nevin before switching channel until 2nd. half….he looked scunnered.

    hehehehehehe!

(Horrible wee hun…..his slavish praise of the zombie hordes completely sickened me.)

  2. We will dominate second half now.

Too many off form in first half.

    Commons for Sammi or Lassad.

What is it with this site sometimes? Criticism or contrary opinion doesn’t necessarily make a contributor a fud.

I thought it was a pen. So what?! It’s my opinion, that’s all.

Glad to see nice football for the goal. Lassad did well and Broon capped a very good show so far.

Started badly finished with a great goal. Great movement and ball from Scott Brown, and great finish from Hoops. Again!

  5. Snake Plissken on

That goal was vital. It changes the entire gameplan for both teams.

The performance in the first half was far too frustrating and mostly because of our recent record at this ground.

You could see it being another one of those days.

The team must match St Mirren for aggression. Samaras and Lassad too soft on occasion, even Vic was getting knocked off the ball more than I’ve ever seen.

Time to really up this. They’ve played their best half against us, don’t give them an ounce of encouragement. Get this won Celtic

  6. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

That was a great pass from Brown…..think it’s just not happening for Sammi today…need to bring someone else on

  7. Brown our best player by some distance. He has been on a one man crusade to galvanise the team. No accident he was involved in our goal.

Wanyama has had a shocker by his standards, although seemed to be picking up towards end of half. Lassad – terrible, although hopefully his confidence will have risen by his involvement in link-up play for goal. Sammi has his big banana shoes on, while Mulgrew has looked uncertain one minute, rash the next.

Down the right is where we have been best going forward – that where we looked most likely, and so it has proven.

Hope Wanyama reacts well to the inevitable bollocking from Lenny.

Never called you a fud ,I disagreed with your opinion,I am allowed to do that.HH

  9. HT ST Mirren 1-1 Celtic

Good first half with both sides doing their bit. We made a decent start then had a 15 minute spell where we looked clueless and then we re-gained control. The problem was that we lost a goal in the brief good spell that St Mirren had.

Good performances from Izzy and Broonie. Need more from Vic and Sammy. Quite impressed by Lassad. His movement and his lay off for Broonie leading up to the goal were first class. Hoops had done very little but he is there to score goals and he came up with the goods once again.

We should kick on now and win this comfortably. Just need to maitain concentration and take St Mirren seriously.

  10. The state of pitch is baffling for national stadium?

The goal was a good example of what better running off the ball creates.

Brown and Hooper both attacked space rather than reacting to pass.

Think Commons should replace big Sammi who is having an off day on the cow patch

  11. macjay1 for Neil Lennon on

Strange big Fraser is still out.

Not convinced by the “wrang pillow” explanation.

    Squad rotation?

  12. We got off the hook there.Great timing tho’! First touches abysmal at times but hopefully half time tactics talk will have us kick on from here. Shortbread studio numpties no pleased! :)))))

  13. We haven’t come to terms with the sticky, dead pitch.

Very difficult to run with the ball.

Sammi and Mulgrew particularly struggling with the ball at their feet.

Matthews should not get caught upfield when he can’t get back, due to the surface.

Apart from that, we have to up our game.

  14. ‘gg

Yes we were disjointed and rattled when they scored.

Ball was bouncing of our guys.

Even Vic67 looked out of sorts.

Captain Broonie and Hoops made a difference.

As I said in my next post, we will go on to dominate now.

Maybe even score 3 before the hour mark.

  15. My mood is good. My outlook optimistic for the 2nd. half. And I won’t have that dimmed by listening to the squirmy nasal whining of a bitter wee slimeball whose biased opinions are as worthless as the regard he holds himself in.

  16. Gene's a Bhoys name on

Brown is the only one running into space and taking the pass – we need more of that

  17. Strange big Fraser is still out.

Not convinced by the “wrang pillow” explanation.

    Squad rotation?

The wrong pillow…could it be Barca. My wee basque pal told me they were more than impressed. And with the move of Valdess on the cards….you just never know.

  18. Maclean…..

“the timing of the Hooper goal was a sickener…………….

    …..for St Mirren”

    Aye , Rob…….

    Aye.

  19. Really poor for long periods of the half but we always carried a threat.

Brown has been our stand-out – fantastic cross for the goal. Lassad and Sammi a bit unlucky, but Lassad in particular showing intelligence with some decent touches.

What has happened to Izzy? A shadow of the player who first arrived here.

Mulgrew also all over the place defensively.

    Still work to be done…

  20. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

Need to keep moving off the ball and the ball moving. Too many tackling opportunities will give them encouragement. Keep them chasing shadows Celtic.

  21. leeds really are a dirty team. I”m not a fan of Gareth Bales “simulation” but ive just seen an incident where he was very lucky he’s skilful and quick enough to get away from a potential leg breaker.

  22. Hampden is a mess. I must have been to 20 games there and can count on the fingers of one hand the times I have actually been able to see the game properly.

The pitch is shocking. There’s better grass at Pollock Park.
