The most secure club in Europe

Ronny Deila has been talking about a treble since early in the season, far too early for my liking.  History suggests that trebles are notoriously difficult to win, even for dominant teams.  The league is usually won by the best team but it’s hard to win every game in two cup competitions, no matter how good you are.

Despite this, I’ll not bet against Ronny getting his wish.  He needs to win four games cup games, three of which would be at neutral Hampden, with only one game, the Scottish Cup quarter final, possibly being played away from home.

The cynic among you will, therefore, expect an away draw, possibly in some far-flung end of the country, like Inverness.  My money is on a trip to Easter Road.  I’ll be happy to avoid Tannadice, scene of our last defeat and a place they’re understandably feeling sort over the loss of Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven.

People of Kirkcaldy: that whole 1994-Ibrox thing, forget about it, we’re OK.

Well done to Celtic for highlighting their position as the least likely football team to financially default, according the US rating agency, Standards & Poor’s.  Commercial and ticket income across Scottish football has fallen in recent years but that was only going to result in Armageddon if those in charge of clubs put an inflated sense of their own importance ahead of paying bills.

  1. I was listening to SSB earlier on and there was a Celtic fan on questioning Madden’s and Thompson’s performances over the last 2 weeks regarding The Thug.

Keevins and Johnstone were of the belief that conclusive evidence was required to point a bias figure towards The Brothers.

Was it not just a few weeks ago that it was perfectly OK to ruin a Celtic player’s reputation on the ‘balance of probability? ‘

The whole McCulloch thing stinks of honest mistakes.

  2. I watched an old episode of Fools and horses last night. The jolly boys outing. Could the Huns check out the availability of Villa Bella. Think that place would make them feel right at home.

I read that, but fifa do not recognise them rules as far as I understand.

The hun are the 3 rd club in their eyes as far as I understand, so imo, more broken rules, whatever level they play at.

But I know it will be washed away like all the rest of the rules they have fecked over.

I don’t even know if I want thems deid anymore, there just so funny, The past two Monday mornings thems have been munching on wasps for breakfast, heeds getting purpler by the second and now its wasp munching on a Tuesday morning as well.

Succulent lamb a far and distant memory. Only wasps on the menu.

P.S. no wasps were harmed by me in writing this post.

  10. There is no way King will do a deal with Mike before the EGM, surely. If he does and calls off the meeting the zombies will go absolutely bananas. I don’t think Mike would do a deal anyway. So it goes to the EGM, King and co win. That’s good for them is it not? If King wins I’m not sure how Mike fits in.

  11. Three club rule hasn’t been broken regarding remi streete.

Fret not for they are still pi$&

  12. Mike fits in by holding all the merchandising contracts and ownership of various assets ….

Mikey bhoy… wish clean them out forever more lol

It really makes no odds what happens re the egm, MA is the KING, the prendy king in just that, he can do feck all, unless he weighs in with untold millions, and I have my doubts he will do, but stranger things have happend….Not :)

    They are right royally fecked.

  14. Im starting to wonder if the Smsm are really as stupid as we think..the whole “Scotland needs a strong Sevco”..well it sells papers but do they believe it. Really, they might want it, but do they really believe it will happen…i really dont think they do….anyone who has saw WEEMINGERS breakdown of figures must realise…it just aint gonna happen…i dont believe the reporters are that stupid…i think they know they are done…im 58…they are done in my lifetime…..

  15. Has FIFA not stepped in and banned Ben Arfa from playing for his French club because he played for Hull City and Newcastle Utd. reserves? before his move in the Transfer Window.

The Great Fire of London,The Plague,Jack the Ripper n now the Huns EGM.

    Unlucky bastards!

  17. They need to default on the loan that Mike gave them before he can call in the assests though right? So if he’s serious about hanging about we can assume they will default before the EGM. Hope so.

  18. Exiled Tim … he hasn’t played for more than 3 clubs ….

    In fact not even 3

    No games for Newcastle

    2 for port vale

  19. Streete has played for Newcastle u21’s this season. I was under the impression that because the FA and SFA don’t recognise u21 games as competative unlike the French FA that’s why he is ok. But if Fifa are applying the same rule as Ben Arfa case then he shouldn’t be playing.

  20. 67Heaven .. CHALLENGING THE LIE ..I am wee Oscar / Neil Lennon.. Ipox belongs to the creditors on

There is no doubt corruption has been uncovered and ignored to ensure sevco remain in the big hoose …. but …. the bubble is going to burst soon …… the wee boy’s finger in the dyke is beginning to loosen off as each revelation is uncovered….

Winning Captains, how dare you suggest Manchester. My BBC licence fee is expensive enough without you suggesting the next hun crimewatch special be filmed outside of the capitol. FFS, get a grip man.
