In recent weeks hundreds of you have contributed to our Mary’s Meals project to build a school kitchen in Malawi for the 1221 pupils who are enrolled at the Kholoni Primary School in Mchinii, and then for the 746 pupils at St Joseph’s Primary in Kasungu.
The £7000 required for the first school reached Mary’s Meals some weeks ago and the building was opened and serving meals yesterday.
Here it is:
We have a lot to do today but there is an excellent chance that the £7000 required for St Joseph’s will be raised and in Mary’s Meals account before 470 of us sit down in the Kerrydale Suite for the CQteN St Patrick’s Day dinner tonight.
Here’s what you’ve done. You have funded two facilities which between them will feed 1967 children, all of whom live below the UN measure of absolute poverty, in the 17th poorest country in the world.
Most days, for almost all children, this will be their main meal, it will often be their only meal. As a result, they will attend school in greater numbers, 30% greater, if they are an average Mary’s Meals, Malawi, school. They will gain a better education and have better opportunities in life. They will build stronger bodies, more able to resist infection. Child mortality will fall.

Ok, of course you are right, but tell me this………who are the main back page talk, in fact who are the front page talk ?
They are alive and ill, they will repair themselfs, the system will see to it.
We koow they are not te same club that has died, but the deluded are the deluded, the media are doin a grand job of carrying on the facade, and fair plat to them, they are din a much better job than the blogs will ever do.
We all know the ruth, but tell tell that to your average citizen on the street, tat’s what the answer is.

If they cannot run themselves properly as a business (and never mind the club/clumpany deviation) they will go bust.
That whole period that Murray was borrowing a tenner for every fiver Celtic spent will be looked back on in the cold light of day for what it was some day.
THE thing is……that unsustainable money just is not there now.
Will some kind of investment take place that gets them money take place soon?
I do not know, but i do know that nobody wants to touch them with the proverbial bargepole and IF they do……it is at a premium.
They either really blew it by blowing that money in their 2 seasons of existance or they did that deliberately because of what is goin on behind the curtains.
To me, they MUST have ran themselves as badly as that for a specific reason.

On the other hand……did they just run themselves as badly because…..
(a) THE PEEPUL wouldn’t have came to watch a team that they felt was mince.
or
(b) They knew the spanner that they had in charge of the team was hopeless and needed to be able to crack a nut with a hammer.
Time is going to eventually tell but 1 way or the other(i can feel a song coming on)we NEED and SHOULD be so far in front of them that for all the honest mistakes and pure and simple cheating that the refs, linesmen, sfa do……we will still be toooooooo good.
IF they stay in business long enough and IF they get promoted……..THAT season that they get into our league……will be the reckoning.
They have even been prepared to cheat the teams in the lower leagues so they will not hesitate to cheat anyone they can in our league either and as some supporters have already said……we aint seen nothin yet(another song maybe?)
Anyway TET…..THE season they do appear will be huge because they will be frothing at the mouth to reapay all the injustices and punishments that they have had.
I just think that if we can keep enough of a structure to our team and then be in a position that we can sell 1 or 2 players with a strong team in place and a few replacements already in place, then we can continue on our boards perceived plan but still be way toooooo good for them.
Ultimately it is goin to come down to us though eh?
I don’t think anybody actually realised what it meant at the time but when Fergus rebuilt Paradise with about 10,000 more seats, he gave us the room to be a bigger and better club than they can be.
Which club sells the most season tickets will have a better chance of prevailing……but will it be Celtic in THAT season if it comes?
Some supporters have said they won’t be a part of that because they feel so strongly about it all and i can see where they are coming from…….however i do think…….and hope…..if that time comes……then they will be there, because Celtic will need every single supporter and fan behind them because that lot will be rabid.
It will quickly wear off if…..and we should destroy them over the league season and as seen in the past……no success=snow off the dyke to them.
I don’t think Celtic can do much regards the MYTH.
These papers want sales and not only are sooooo many of the staff wanting to report what they do……..the majority of their readership wants it told like they want it to be.
They are blowin up the bubble for the season they 1st meet us……we need to stick our pin right into their stoooopid bubble…….for me…..that is all we can do but as well……that ought to do it.
