Whyte, Ticketus or their proxy the only show in town

971

Sterling work by Chris McLaughlin at the BBC who brought us the news that Duff and Phelps have rejected a bid for Rangers from Brian Kennedy, the owner English rugby club, Sale Sharks.  Earlier today Kennedy suggested the administrators get their act together and move towards appointing a preferred bidder.

A preferred bidder may now be identified, if not yet publicly announced.

I can imagine the process to whittle bidders down:

‘Tell me, do you own Ibrox Stadium or security and floating charge over it?’

‘No?  Ah, that’s a problem, as we don’t have it either.  Where do you propose to play matches?’

‘Forget that one, someone tipped off St Mirren.’

‘Don’t take that tone with me, we’re doing our best in difficult circumstances and we’ve not been paid a pound.  Yet.’

Craig Whyte controls the security and floating charge over Ibrox.  He provided Ticketus with security for the money they due on the season tickets they purchased, worth in the region of £40m.

Mr Whyte and Ticketus, or a proxy, are the only show in town – and that show is not a CVA.  Everything else is just shooting the breeze at £600 per hour.

Why did Amaruzo come out with that? Has HMRC already interviewed him so he knows the games up?

The voting issue is a good one,

should all members have a single vote ?

how does this accommodate fair play ?

should clubs who have mismanaged their resources be allowed to vote ?

I expect we should be looking at ways to overhaul the voting system with a bit more emphasis on the right to vote, as opposed to the so called democratic model, one man one vote is fine if everyong involved with the game are afforded the right to vote, however the system is an autocracy.

It has merits but needs to be made to work for the good of the game, at the moment it is working against the good of the game and for the good of the officeholders.

The clubs must be removed from the administration of the game for it to work, the same rules we want for the sfa must apply with public access to all minuted decisions on request.

The clubs will make sure this works as they will be the main inquisitors.

I cannot see why after spending years and considerable amout of money trying to attract customers and ensuring Celtic thrive, we should consider sharing home gates with clubs who have mismanaged their resources.

Due diligence shoudl be top of the agenda for change, and should be considered along with stadia for promotion for any club.

An SFA spokesman today detailed the reasoning behind the postponement of the inquiry into RFC(ia)..”this postponement allows all powers at the SFA to be focussed on the real and only serious problem affecting Scottish football today ..namely Neil Francis Lennon “

    Evening folks.

Havent had much time up until now to read over posts and try to digest what happened today.

Scotland, the previous champions of reaching new levels, just hoodwinked even themselves.

If Celtic dont take steps to take the matter of ethnic persecution against one Neil James Lennon I for one will be disappointed.

That a man can run on to the field of play and attack a man, admit attacking a man only for the courts to find a way of aquitting him is one thing.

That two men could conspire to manufacture and dispatch three home made bombs having had a history uncovered of loyalist sympathies, only to be acquitted of conspiring to kill the intended target but instead intended to assault that person is so offensive and demeaning to the intended targets it can only leave Neil Lennon totally convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that its not just to dogs in the street, the unemployed and uneducated instinctively violent sterotypes who wish harm against him – but everyone including the establishment.

I shudder to think what is going through that mans head tonight, in fact I dispair.

That man must feel beyond lonely and isolated.

I dont think a show of strength from the Celtic family will work this time.

I think he will walk away from it in the summer. Do you know what, I almost want him to, because its all true.

Walk away Neil, for your own sake. You dont deserve this, no human being deserves this.

I have no idea how we will pick up the pieces and I have no idea who would want to manage the club after you have – but your cause is bigger than the club in this instance.

EWO . you have a point my friend . Surely there must come a time when a challenge is made to the highest court outside these shores . It was a racing certainty that after the sad loss of paul mcbride that the hate against neil lennon would begin again . Celtic f.c should have found neil another top notcher in the legal field , but having said that not only did paul mcbride support and defend neil lennon , he also had the guts to stand shoulder to shoulder with him .

Cheers my friend. I think so. She puts up with a lot but if she didnae love Celtic we wouldn’t have lasted this long. But we are good together thanks.

  21. Dunfermline so skint they need an immediate payment from the bares but can also sign a new goalie…

  22. I for one think it is time we sat at the back of the big blue bus again. We should keep our mouths shut. We just make them angry when we speak anyway. Its all our fault. Not theirs. It is their country after all. Its time we understood that. We are the aliens. Not them. We should know our place by now. And it certainly is not at the top table. Lets not rock the boat anymore- come on lads: the good Orange herenvolk have been good enough to tolerate our funny Irish ways. Lets just let it be. Lenny for one needs to learn the concept of “dignified silence”. The establishment only expects unquestioning obedience and compliance to their mad arbitrary rules. Now thats not a lot to ask, is it? There are just too many trouble makers on this site. We need to start doffing our caps to the master race. Its the very least we can do. There was a time we they could bar us from the workplace or horsewhip us- but noww they just want to politely ignore us and lord it over us. I don’t think theres anything wrong with that. I’m happy to oblige. I’m grateful not to be horsewhipped. I think it shows tremendous generosity on their part. If my ritual humiliation keeps the peace then i’m for it. Lets be good little times. Don’t stick your head above the parapet. They are after all only correcting historical imbalances: making sure we don’t rise above our station.

So as I say Lenny needs to immitate the good jocular example set by Herr Coisty with his smooth smug decency and contrived sincerity. All that artless passion, raw honesty and open frankness is a disgrace. Its just an embarrassment to compromising types like myself. And I think I speak for the majority of lilly livered fans out there. Honesty just causes trouble. It is a terrible habit, nae vice, he needs to cut outif he is to gain any respect in Scotland. So lets walk on the otherside of the street. Lets give up our seats for them. Let us take our powder and acquiesce to the superior will of the good upstanding Orange herenvolk.

    Yours faithfully
