Whyte, Ticketus or their proxy the only show in town

971

Sterling work by Chris McLaughlin at the BBC who brought us the news that Duff and Phelps have rejected a bid for Rangers from Brian Kennedy, the owner English rugby club, Sale Sharks.  Earlier today Kennedy suggested the administrators get their act together and move towards appointing a preferred bidder.

A preferred bidder may now be identified, if not yet publicly announced.

I can imagine the process to whittle bidders down:

‘Tell me, do you own Ibrox Stadium or security and floating charge over it?’

‘No?  Ah, that’s a problem, as we don’t have it either.  Where do you propose to play matches?’

‘Forget that one, someone tipped off St Mirren.’

‘Don’t take that tone with me, we’re doing our best in difficult circumstances and we’ve not been paid a pound.  Yet.’

Craig Whyte controls the security and floating charge over Ibrox.  He provided Ticketus with security for the money they due on the season tickets they purchased, worth in the region of £40m.

Mr Whyte and Ticketus, or a proxy, are the only show in town – and that show is not a CVA.  Everything else is just shooting the breeze at £600 per hour.

    HH…

We are all Neil Lennon.. Standing shoulder to shoulder.. In the absence of Paul Mc Bride RIP, the scum bags are getting away with it.

Assault? What happens if the shock of the package gives you a heart attack and you die? Is that assault?

    Scumbags..

Mon the hoops .. The Hun PR machine struggling… They’re scraping for pennies ….

  2. Assault with a bomb??

Whats next, ‘No your honour, I wasn’t trying to poison and kill my wife with arsenic, I was assisting with her diet, and lending a helping hand to lose weight, honest…..’

    Or

‘Oh you mean this little thing, (Pulling out an actual sword). Of course I am not about to try to do anything sinister, while carrying this around the town centre late at night, its my letter opener. I just wanted to see if the guy who has been cheating on my wife, wants to borrow it…….’

    FFS

Would not surprise me in the least, if the two of them are convicted with ‘conspiracy to commit a heinous, and seriously funny joke’

Of course, if Mr Turnbull was to receive something similar, I can only assume the charges would be exactly the same? Or somehow there would be more than enough ‘sufficient evidence’, to go for attempted murder? I would be willing to bet anything on that to be honest.

(Just to make it absolutely clear, I am not saying that I would do that, or that anyone else should. It is a totally hypothetical situation, where I am saying I expect the outcome would be completly different, should the victim, be anyone else apart from Neil Lennon, or any other person associated with Celtic).

  3. (Not yet Sir) Walter Smith apparently backs Paul Murray’s bid because he was on the old board. Yes, that’s a good idea Walter. Stick with the folk that you got into the mess.

Oh, I forgot that everything is all Craig Whyte’s fault,

Maybe our hero whyte’s lawyers are preparing a broadside, challenging the sfa to audit their own organisation’s fit and proper due diligence, then maybe they can justify the pot calling the kettle black eh :o)

Have you noticed all these peepil comeing out to support Rangers fight for survival not one of them says we are in this mess through our cheating and we are sorry and apoligise to honest tax payers throughout the UK.I honestly am begining to believe they dont see that they have done anything wrong. They are so full of themselves.H.H.

  6. Surely if they’re saying the parcel couldn’t blow up so couldn’t kill then it couldn’t assault as well? Is this going to be another case of ‘we can’t find them guilty of the offences they’ve been accused of’? They should have been up on terrorism charges!!

Also, plotting to assault? Does anyone with legal knowledge know if (presumably) this is a lesser charge than assault? So you could get more time for getting into a scuffle in a pub than you could for sending a bomb?

  7. Rangers (STV) news- ” big European names are backing Rankers tomorrow night- Lorenzo Amoluser and Marvyn Andrews” Then treating the misappropriation of charity donations as some form of support for the tax avoiders. Hunbelievable

Lorenzo Amoruso admits he was aware of the EBT scheme when he played for Rangers, but says nobody will take his memories away

No. Your medals will be fine, Lorenzo.

  10. BSR- Nothing surprises me about this country, with Paul McBride no longer with us it is very much “game on” against us from the dark forces.

  11. Now that the SFA have set the precedent, I expect Neil to request a postponement of his hearing(s) till, say, around June.

This will give him time to prepare his defence…..and allow him to be on the field to receive the League trophy and, perhaps the Cup.

My sympathies & personal experiences are on-side with your comments and the fear & alarm which NL has had to endure is completely deplorable. It would be totally understadable were Neil to decide enough was enough.

I don’t think though my comments are in any way contradictory. Although my remarks were initiated in light of the specific recent legal move I was trying to look at the more general, bigger picture. This is still MY country and no bias or discrimination will stop my fight to make it better. The fact that the judge has directed in the way he has and that this case involves NL does not necessarily mean that the direction (under law) is wrong.

  13. Watching STV news feature about fat pets and there just had to be an overweight cocker spaniel called Billy- bet he’s dressed in blue at the weekends

I offer you today,..March 29, 2012,.. as the most satisfying day in our history.

I have waited well over six decades for just such a day.

This is more satisfying than Lisbon 1967.

  21. A wee cut a paste interview with amoruso on s(huns)tv there, and a mention of the ebts….And what about Doncaster there trying to explain the breach of the huns not paying Dundee Utd. He and his cronies make John Cleese and The peoples front of Judea decision making credible.

Is there any chance that Celtic could back Lenny in launching private proceedings ,if so could he argue for it to be heard in England .
