Every year we ask you to put your hand in your pocket for various causes and every year you react, but never more so than 2012. You responded magnificently to the Wee Oscar Appeal, which from Celtic fans in total raised £31k in a bucket collection in September and £27k at a race night last month.
It is breath-taking to see the work done by those who, without thought for their personal sacrifices, decided this young boy would get the best chance possible. The photographs of Oscar are an inspiration, but the work done by those who staged the race night and bucket collection – and brought a new CQN badge to life – is even more inspiring.
The events surrounding the charity golf day raised four-figure sums for Oscar, the Neuroblastoma Alliance, the Martin Chambers Ecuador Trust and The Haven in Blantyre, which supports people with life limiting illness. There were smaller donations too, each one a credit to the organisers and to those of you who contributed.
The overwhelming majority of this work, and pretty much all donations, are made by people who don’t want any thanks and would be horrified by publicity. In most instances the beneficiaries will never know their names. I’m in the really fortunate position that I get to see a lot of this happen and I can assure you it is awe inspiring. You are in the company of many great Celts.
This club is not Neil Lennon’s or Dermot Desmond’s, it’s yours. Celtic will win and lose many games but that will change nothing that is really important. You are the person who will make it a unique force for good in the world. That is our challenge for 2013.
Thank you for all your help, take care and have an absolutely fantastic Christmas.

Good morning CQN. A few hangovers about are there?
Right, let’s get back to football today. A few goals and the winning run continuing will do nicely.

My obsession :)) with Efe to score anytime in 90 mins will be rewarded tonight.
Christmas dinner in a curry house in uddingston today with my side mam, brother, daughters, nieces, nephews and growing band of kids and assorted boyfriends and girlfriends and only one sevconion :)).
curry, dessert then topped of with the hoops at 7:30 my highlight of the year and what a fantastic year it has been.

Sick as a small Hospital this morning, not self inflicted just a bloody awful Cold & Sore throat. Still heading up to Cork to meet up with Brothers in Laws/Nieces/Nephews etc. That is how we traditionally spend St. Stephens Day (Note no bloody Boxing Day here, its St. Stephen’s Day). Still hoping to make the Friars Walk Tavern for the match tonight, hopefully the array of tablets & potions, I’m stuffing down me will kick in by Match Time.
This is WEE BGFC if you have two spare tickets for todays game at Dundee please post in and tell us. We have not been to an away game this season and i really want to go to this one. Hail Hail. WEE BGFC

I’d help if I could but they’re rarer than Slimfast shakes in TFPLG’s house.
The ticket office at Dundee is opening at 2pm and they have tickets left but not for the Celtic end.
Gourock Em…
Hope the bhoys enjoyed their day……

Hope you are having a good time. Away back to play wae my new Sonos sound system worse than the wee man wae his toys.

Not sure of our allocation but it’s been a while since there has been such high demand for an away game.
I tried to get some spares on Saturday from a guy who always has extras. Not a chance he told me.

my eyes like that due to heavy cold rather than the drink..o))
BGFC
get doen to KSC for the game
hamiltontim- I took it that the capacity/allocation would be similar to Dundee Utd there is normally enough to go round at that game.
That plus the holiday, evening kick off and live TV, really surprised the demand is so high. Got it wrong again.
I’m looking for a Hibs ticket if anyone can help???

Will ask about Hibs and let you know if I get any spares, don’t have one myself yet ;-)
Heard we got 2400 for today.
2100 in the stand behind the goal and 300 in the main stand.

G…..Enjoy….
My St Stephen’s day thank you goes to Wooden and laminate flooring.
Staying at the outlaws for Christmas in Liverpool. Nearly spoilt by my forgetting to bring my CQN Annual with me – until this morning.
Guess what big brother got me for my birthday?
I mentioned CQN to him a while ago, but didn’t realise he had become a lurked like me.
By the the way, if you are lurking now, thanks for the pressies – oh and I think you might have gone to school with Embramike.
Off for a read. HH
The Guardian named their top 10 players in their current series.
Will be no surprise that nos 1, 3 and 4 play for the mighty Barcelona. The more you think of those 2 games the more you realise just quite what an achievement it was to even compete, never mind win (and almost draw) with this phenomenon.
Player no 8 awaits though!

A Happy Christmas to you all. I hope Santa was good to you all. Had a quiet day myself. First to the Pub with my Father-in-Law. Had to leave the Pub at 15:00 when they turned the volume up for you know who. A Pub that normally has the volume muted as it is a Wetherspoons.
Then back home with said Father-in-Law and an enjoyable day with the good lady and Junior LB.
Happy Boxing Day.
Keep the Faith!
Hail Hail!
corkcelt-Do Pat and Ger still have Friar’s Walk ?
