I’m afraid De Vries is culpable for both goals.No-way would they have got past Gordon. Team is flat—-no imagination.Sinclair and Edouard plus Masonda to shake them up.
Must say I’m more disappointed by CQN then I am by our first half performance.
We are very good at keeping possession between our 18 yard line and midway into the opposition half.
There. I’ve found something we’ve been good at so far.
Unfortunately we’re not good at anything else.
Celtic slip back into the form they’ve been in most of the season. Too many poor performances, and not enough willing to take responsibility. A sign of having so many young players in the team maybe ?
So far, only Kieran ahs shown willingness to go past his man, and has had a little bit of success. We may need to gamble on Charly for second half. I’d take Kouaasi off and bring Musonda on – we’re not losing a midfield battle, just lacking the guile to go past players.
A goal for us changes the complexion of the game and Zenit need to come out, which will give us more space where we need it.
I’d take Kouassi off, he will get sent off otherwise. Need more of a threat anyway, so stick Rogic on.
Keep it to 2 until the last 10 minutes and we’ve got a wee chance.

We need to cut out the pointless, pedestrian possession thats become a hallmark of this team. Zenit wil let us play like that until Christmas.

A look back on here will confirm that many were crying out for Gordon to be dropped. I even read ( not on here) some saying thank god when he was injured. To me the 2nd scenario is in no way a Celtic supporter. Many though both in the stand and on the internet were giving Gordon pelters. In my (many ) years of supporting Celtic the venom directed at some players by individuals and sections of our support is a relatively recent phenomenon.
