well we got there in the end, but why are we struggling so much. Ronnie needs to stop the soundbites and come out fighting. if the players are not doing it for him or if they aren’t good enough he needs to do something about it. Otherwise it will be him with the P45

Hopefully we will kick on from here, the win should do our confidence a power of good, happy to stick with Ronnie as long as he keeps us at the top of the league, I’m not that bothered about the cups but Ronnie must surely know that a failure to win at least one of them will be used as a stick to beat him over the head with.
There is a minority of our fans who think we should be demolishing everybody domestically all the time and when we don’t they are very loud and very quick to put the boot in, they are the biggest threat to Ronnie.

Afternoon all and a Happy New Year to all.
Lacklustre display for almost all of it and I had no objections to Bitton seeing red as he was a wee bit lucky not to get his second yellow a minute or two before. Delighted though with the win and we have a lot to thank Leigh Griffiths for this season. We have needed a wee boost of late and hopefully that was it.

We improved when Bitton was sent off. We started moving from front to back a lot quicker and the crab football disappeared. Forrest made a difference with his direct running at them and when you have a goalscorer on the pitch you always have a chance.
Again, like the Motherwell game, Ronny bemoans the slow tempo we play at yet, like Motherwell game he picks a midfield with Bitton, Rogic and Commons who all slow the play down. No coincidence that when two,of them were off the pitch we started to play and look dangers s.
Overall a good three points but utter garbage to watch. Formation, system, tactics, lack of pace, lack of creativity and lack of goal threat all there to see for an hour. Being outplayed by Thistle at CP isn’t acceptable and the result shouldn’t hide the fact we have serious problems that need addressed now.

Evening folks,
Always delighted to get the 3 points, especially when down to ten men. But again the manner in which we played was very poor.
Anyone agree that even as poor as Sevco are they could give us a game and perhaps on one off cup tie beat us? Seems a possibility to me, would be very interested in the view of the folks who go to the games on what they think?

Perhaps, Thistle made broke the die and tried to take all 3 points, Coupled with the Celtic having a scorer on and more space contributed too ? But we got lucky.

Rock Tree boy, I would just like to see some good football played by Ronnie’s team. I can take a draw or defeat if I see some some sort of football from Celtic that I can enjoy. I keep hoping Ronnie’s vision on how to play football will appear, but it gets harder to believe after every game
