SCOTLAND’S SHAME

1

SCOTTISH FOOTBALL was shamed today at Ibrox as Sevco Rangers fans disgraced the national sport.

Celtic opened the scoring from the penalty spot and the goal scorer Scott Sinclair was racially abused from Rangers supporters in the Copeland Road stand. These shameful images were captured by the Sky Sports cameras.

And to make matters worse a Rangers hooligan ran onto the pitch to confront Celtic skipper Scott Brown.

Television camera also captured images of the home support throwing missiles onto the pitch on five occasions during the match. Bizarrely one thug threw a battery at Leigh Griffiths.

Celtic hardly needed new batteries today after recording an emphatic 5-1 victory over their Glasgow rivals for the second time this season.

On the first occasion, last September, the Sevco Rangers supporters caused £100k worth of damage when they wrecked the away toilets at Celtic Park.

The latest incidents must surely result in lifetime bans for the pitch invader and the racist and Police Scotland must open an investigation to identify these criminals.
