A Hibs fan suggested to me on Twitter that as his team are wearing their home kit for next week’s Scottish Cup Final Celtic should take the opportunity to wear their 125th anniversary top. Despite there being 100 years precedent of Celtic and Hibs both wearing their home kits, recent rules (or perhaps customs) dictate that clubs are not permitted colour clashes.
That being the case, let’s take the opportunity to reach back to our founders and wear the anniversary kit.
Before that we have the small matter of Dundee United to play on Sunday. Celtic won the league by 20 points last season, 10 of which were gained after a competitor failed to come up with enough money to meet their commitments. Defeat at Tannadice could reduce this season’s winning margin to 10 points, in a season where everyone, even Hearts could afford to meet their commitments.
Who would’ve thought this SPL would be so competitive? Not me. More please.

RCT is urging people to follow Charlotte Fakes and says “This is going to get interesting” Alex comes back and says “indeed it will” a couple of Huns then get involved but there input is not worth bothering about.

if i was one of them, god forbid me, but I really wouldnt be spending anything up front.
it really is a mugs game now.
this blind loyalty to funding “the club”, as an act of defiance and pretence that its all just the same team, then, now, forever, it only allows more shame and more harm to whatever the toxic brand stands for.
if it was my club i really would be saying enough is enough, shut the gates until everything is settled.
some time out, to be cleansed, would be helpful for them all.
and let the rest of the honest clubs get on with playing the game for the games sake.

Exactly. And if you have already agreed a contract and a wage with the player in advance then it isn’t a trial – it’s a pre-contract by another name. Just a way of getting around the ban really.
They can play two triallsts at a time, but only for three games each. Not sure how many games they will have before 1 September next season, but its probably more than three.
