James McPake’s absence tomorrow will be a blow to Hibs and a significant boost to Celtic. Hibs are short on cover in all areas and McPake, their captain, is an instrumental component in their defence. Celtic are without the suspended Victor Wanyama but they are far better provisioned all over the field, especially in central midfield.

Bayern would be at the pinacle of world football just now, they are strong, they have the tech ability, they have kids coming through to beat the band, as do all other German clubs.
They took the decision in 2000, and it’s paying off big time.

Just back in from watching a brilliant live ska band, some guy started yapping to me as heard the accent, his dad was from Dunfermline and mammy from Larkhall, now I do know a wheen o folk from Larkhall that are tims but the likelihood is he’s a Hun ……… So I said Larkhall oh well, we’re tims as you do.
Then he said I’m a Tim innaw look, so he got the Celtic crest tattoo out lol.
