ANGE’S WIDE BHOYS AIM FOR SEVENTH HEAVEN

1

ANGE POSTECOGLOU could wing it when he names his Celtic line-up to face St Mirren in Paisley at noon today.

The Hoops manager is a known advocate of wide players and he is spoiled for choice as he attempts to push the champions back to a five-point advantage at the Premiership pinnacle against Stephen Robinson’s side.

Postecoglou’s men have hit the ground running in defence of their title and have racked up a 100 per cent record as they go for their seventh successive victory while they have crammed 25 goals into the opposition’s net.

IN THE RUNNING…Sead Haksabanovic started in the 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk in Warsaw.

Liel Abada, who hit a hat-trick in the 9-0 rout of Dundee United and followed up with a double against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox outfit, could get the nod to start, but he will face extreme opposition for the right-sided berth from new Bhoy Sead Haksabanovic, evergreen James Forrest and Daizen Maeda.

Filipe Jota will be in charge of the left flank.

CELTIC SQUAD

Joe Hart, Benji Siegrist, Scott Bain, Josip Juranovic, Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Moritz Jenz, Stephen Wesh, Greg Taylor, Alexandro Bernabei, Matt O’Riley, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, Aaron Mooy, David Turnbull, James McCarthy, Oliver Abildgaard, Sead Haksabanovic, Liel Abada, Daizen Maeda, James Forrest, Kyogo Furuhashi, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Filipe Jota.
