Beale Mathematics to the rescue!

If Philippe Clement thinks Brendan Rodgers’ comments about the coming game between Celtic and Newco are disrespectful, he would be advised to avoid his own side’s fan media if the result does not go their way at the weekend.

Brendan suggested, “We can have a bit of fun”, using his ability to deescalate tension in his squad ahead of a big game.  Clement, perhaps clutching his pearls, said Rodgers’ comment was “not really respectful towards my team.”  Pity help him if he encounters his own fan media in the event he loses the game.

Clement went on to do some casual Beale Mathematics.  It requires control over when you start counting the league table, a tactic which can quell a sense of inadequacy in football managers.  Beale took over from that nice Giovanni van Bronckhorst, before going on a long streak of wins and telling everyone the gap in the table was nothing to do with him.

Picking up where his predecessor left off, Clement told the media on Sunday, “Six months ago we were seven points behind; now we are three points behind and we can go equal”.  If he loses on Saturday, the reality of being two points clear one month ago, then six points behind, will stop the Belgian concerning himself with maths for a while.  As Pythagoras often said ahead of the weekend, ‘Three points are all we need, lads.”

    Fair enough BELMONT BHOY….I wouldnt disagree with you about Butlands ability as a Goalie, however on occasions he has reminded me of that THUG CHUMP….Allan McGregor.

    I see this morning that my Horse ” TIP” for Today is as little as 15/8 FAVOURITE with one or Two Bookies, but 2/1 is STILL available with BET365, and possibly some other Bookies ?

     

    Whether is goes off at 15/8 or 2/1 is of little matter, as long as it WINS !

     

     

    I know some Folk do NOT like backing Horse Favourites, which is fair enough, but the ” TIP” WAS listed at 7/2 2nd Early yesterday with The Sporting Life, so it looks as though it has been gambled on ?

     

    As for the ” Word on the Street” about the Horse, which was Posted by someone yesterday asking me….The ONLY Person that has spoken to me about the Horse, was ONE of the Part Owners TWO WEEKS ago, when he gave me the ” TIP”. He told me the exact day it would be running….and the owners were very ” Hopeful” that the Horse would run well ?

     

     

    Ye pay yer cash and take yer chance…thats the nature of Gambling.

     

    Best of luck to any who have backed the Horse Today…My Bets have been on since yesterday.

    PSG V DORTMUND last night.

     

     

    I watched the first 20 minutes or so, but I could NOT STOMACH that CLOWN CHUMP ” McCoist” any longer so I changed channels to watch a Movie instead.

     

    McCoists constant spiel is ” I will tell you this Fletch, I will tell you that Fletch” and his constant annoying habit of REPEATING himself with every comment, completely RUINS any game for me, and I suspect many other TV Viewers.

     

     

    I HATE the Hun CHUMP….I always have done….long before he got his cushy job with TNT Sports.

     

    He has NEVER been the ” Nice Cheeky Chappie ” for me….as I have heard him DELIBERATELY LYING on TV when he was the Assistant Manager with the Huns, when Smith was the Manager.

     

     

    After one Celtic v Rangers game he was interviewed on TV straight after the Final whistle. The Huns had beaten Celtic that day at Celtic Park.

     

    At the start of the ” Interview” McCoist couldn’t wait to announce just how ” FANTASTIC the Rangers support were that day, as they NEVER STOPPED Singing for 90 Minutes ” ?

     

     

    Right away, the ” Interviewer” asked him….” Ally, what about the SECTARIAN Singing from the Rangers support during the game” ?

     

     

    McCoists ” answer” to that question was…” I NEVER HEARD any sectarian singing” !

     

     

    McCoist completely contradicted himself with that ” ANSWER”…..as just seconds before on LIVE TV, he claimed that “the Rangers support hadn’t stopped singing for 90 minutes” ?

     

     

    IF he was CORRECT about the Hun support singing for 90 minutes as he claimed….He couldn’t FAIL to hear the Sectarian Blood Songs coming from the Hun support ?

     

     

    I was HOPING the SKY SPORTS TV Interviewer would point out to him that he had just contradicted himself…sadly he didn’t.

     

     

    LYING HUN SCUMBAG…every day of the week.

    In 6 seasons pre joining rangers their captain scored 8 goals in 59 pro games. 1.25 per season and roughly a goal every 7.5 games

     

     

    In 9 seasons since joining rangers he has scored 90 in 312 games which is a staggering 10 goals per season or a goal every 3.4 games.

     

     

    He also appears to be a rangers player who has lost to Celtic more times than any other and has won just 1 time in all his visits to Celtic park.

    I`ll be leaving shortly for a brother and sister get-together in Cafe Andaluz in St Vincent Place.

     

    I always enjoy a visit to my Home town. Obviously I go regularly to Celtic Park but that is just the Bus park and Celtic Park. Most enjoyable, of course, but not the same as a visit to the town.

    Tom McL posted last night that emails were due today. In reality it should all have been sorted a while back. A bit of proactive planning for each scenario prior to semi finals taking place by all parties could have these tickets out no later than last week. As per and as you allude to, the fan is way down the list of priorities

    PS : There are numerous ticket opportunities on Celtic spares for most games. With a bit of time and effort tickets can be sourced if you really want one. However its much easier and cheaper to complain.
