CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS is standing by to make an appearance against Wolves at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin this afternoon.

The Celtic fans’ favourite missed the last six games of the previous season following his inspirational centre-back outing in the 1-0 Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Michael Beale’s Ibrox side at Hampden on April 30.

The £6million recruit from Spurs a year ago after his impressive season-long loan remained at Lennoxtown while his team-mates went on their two-game tour of Japan, but has been included in Brendan Rodgers’ provisional squad for the friendly match against the Midlands club with a 2pm kick-off.
