Celtic surrendered another two points to fall further behind in the championship race, drawing 0-0 at home against Hibernian. It was a unorganised looking performance from the home team who gave Graham Stack little to do in the Hibernian goal.
Gary Hooper squandered Celtic’s only gilt-edged chance of the game when, after playing a one-two with Anthony Stokes, he struck the outside of the post with Ki available for the square pass. Anthony Stokes had earlier tested Stack, who failed to hold the ball but did enough to clear.
When the same teams met on Wednesday James Forrest transformed the game when he drifted inside but he spent most of today’s game adrift on the right wing. On two occasions he cut inside with purpose, once testing Stack with a blistering shot from 22 yards and later when a 25 yard pile-drive struck the crossbar, but Hibs were content to limit Celtic to such speculative efforts.
Neil Lennon was justified in his criticism of his front pairing of Stokes and Hooper today but Celtic were equally clueless in midfield. There appeared to be no cohesion and there was certainly not a productive match plan.
Motherwell’s away win in Inverness gives the Lanarkshire side a three point lead, having played a game more, going into next week’s crucial game against Celtic at Fir Park. Manager-less St Johnstone dropped three points at home this afternoon, leaving them four points behind Celtic in the fight for the last Europa League place.
This is where we are people, scrapping between Motherwell and St Johnstone. Get used to it.

The workers have been offered 3%.
That is below inflation.
The CEO gave himself a 71% pay rise 2 days ago . His wage is $5,000,000
Inflation for necessities in Australia is currently running at over 5%.
How you can even begin to justify the ethics of Qantas Management is sad.
Every single stop work meeting by the workers (and there have been only a few) have been done within the LAW. that’s right: within the protection of Australian Law: notice given etc.
But Qantas then give ZERO notice to ground the fleet: breathtaking.
Justify that!
Got out of the match what we deserved yesterday, flat performance which reflected the current management in the dugout
Devoid of intelligent football thought, no invention, played the same system the whole turgid 90 mins

I don’t mean to burst your bubble but, having watched the huns slither their way out of every noose that their, scaley necks found around them then, I have this gnawing feeling at the back of my head that, the huns will emerge from the tax-case with minimal damage!
What then for ‘our’ own, beleaguered hierarchy who, it seems their own masterplan is to, wait and see what happens to the huns ?
F#ck the board!
I want Celtic supporters on ‘our’ board, driving us forward and, driving the hun downward at the same time!
The drive has to come from the top! IMO!
No matter what happens to the huns in the tax-case, they won’t die!
Far too many fans on this and, many other web-sites don’t seem to grasp the fact that……
Scotland IS the huns, The huns ARE Scotland!
An angry Neil Lennon has threatened to name and shame the players who he believes are costing Celtic their title challenge after his side slipped 12 points behind Rangers in the Scottish Premier League.
Neil that doesn’t work mate, Megaphone psychology by berating individuals in your squad through the Scottish LL is not good management, try good ole training ground hard work with PRIVATE dialogue involving squad as a whole and individuals

What’s really worrying is that even if they do get a points deduction and manage to keep the bulk of their first team I don’t think we will win the league.
They have a winning mentality and can grind out results when playing poorly. We can’t.
I don’t think we’ve ever had a manager who we all want to succeed like NL for what the man’s gone through. Problem is we’re going backwards. The disjointed look of the team reminds me too much of Mowbray, and IMO we gave him too long.
We don’t have a long winning run in us for some reason. Funny thing is I think we have some good players playing badly. We need an experienced manager who can make them a team. We don’t need a top class manager but we need someone experienced.

Who ‘outs’ the poor performing management team?
I said after the 3-3 draw with Kilmarnock that Lenny should walk, as i felt a result like that day would be repeated in a few weeks. How horribly right i was
A change of management is needed asap

You’re asking the wrong guy. We already employ someone to do that work and he is paid millions for it. He is called the CEO.
A terrible performance by team and management.
We have a struggling trainee manager, not backed by the players or the board.
Manager has his failings, should have changed things a lot earlier yesterday, was almost a carbon copy of the St Johnsone fiasco, but he is constantly undermined by the conniving CEO, if he is getting no respect from the CEO, you can see why the players may not have it.
We are at risk of handing a keech hun team the SPL even with a ten point penalty, unthinkable.
Where’s my socks. I know I had socks on when I got home last night …in fact I had them on most of the day, but where have they gone. I’ve checked the usual places, Fridge, Freezer, Oven and Feet.
This is not a particularly unusual occurrence as one night /week many moons ago me and my pal Grand67 (who some of you met yesterday) pushed the boat out and got uncharacteristically drunk. In the morning I found I had only one shoe.
My house phone rang and it was Grand67 on the blower.
“Have you got my Mobile” he asked.
“Where’s my shoe?” I replied
“I don’t feckin know. Hop along to sharkeys and we’ll think about this.” He suggested
“Tell you what, that sounds brilliant.”
And then I had a great Idea.
I rang his mobile number.
The most annoying ring-tone in the known universe echoed from the kitchen. I went in search and eventually found his phone inside my shoe, in the fridge.
Unfortunately I can’t ring my socks.
Anyway, can I just thank all of those who contributed to my sponsored ‘destroy a brain in one session’ last night. Gerry McNee says hello to Lennybhoy..He won’t forget that encounter!!

I don’t mean anything personally but, the scatter-gun approach is all wrong! IMO!
It’s OUR fault!
Thats right!
Every Celtic fan who pays these charlatans to run ‘our’ club into the ground, it’s YOUR fault!
If we really feel the pain then, as a wiseman once said “shame on the board if they do that to me. Shame on me if I let them do it to me again!”
Think about it.
Mr Lawell – good morning – I hope you have used the extra hour well.
Couple of facts:
We are 12 points behind
Our team is plying inconsistent football
Potential worst case senario:
THEY go into administration get deducted 10 points have to sell “some” players AND still win the league
MR Lawell do you want this as your legacy????
Please treat Neil with dignity and respect – but his time is up
Now convince DD he needs to invest in a new manager (not players – yes we are short of one or two but we have the players)
Some options
I understand that you just can’t go and get who you want when you want
Moyes
Lambert
Are my two prefered choices – its likely you will not get them until end of season
So
Martin O’Neil until the summer
Same applies to Gordon Strachan
I know this is a big ask
As an alternative if all of the above is not an option
Mark Hughes
BUT you need to act and you need to act now
67ECW
I didn’t make the game yesterday
Could have predicted the score and more depressingly the awful performance
The team has been playing with the same lack of cohesion, drive , application and passion all season
The management are culpable time up …. There is no other solution

Fair play to you for watching the rerun on TV,providing you were aware of the result and the performance beforehand.
I was there, first time since February.
If I’d known the outcome in advance,I wouldn’t have bothered. I wouldn’t even have bothered to get out of bed.
The players need to look at themselves-if they really think that performance was acceptable, they need reminding of why it wasn’t.
The management need to look at themselves-why could they not tweak the formation to get the beating of a poor Hibs team?
The board need to change their strategy, their objectives and their mindset. Or just go altogether.
Frankly,not sure where to start.
Thoughts? Seeing as to how your criticism has been more vocal and lasting than most?
The policing of the Green Brigade is a discrace . Strathclyde police are being deliberatly provocative and intimidating.
If they kept a low profile these games would pass without incident.

With no intention of turning this into a, soap opera…..
you said it was time for NL to go and,
I asked you a simple question, who would replace him ?
Outing the under performing players…. Appalling management from a naive manager who is drowning thro lack of experience
Lenny … Great Celtic man …. Poor Celtic manager
“I will speak to them individually and tell them what I think and I will be looking for a response from them.”
Don’t believe the headlines bhoys.
Lenny said he’d out them but quickly said the above.
The media up to their usual tricks.
He’s going to do what any manager would do and have a word in the ears of the under-performers.

Morning all from a bright but blustery North Ayrshire.
The problem is a young team whio have lost confidence . I include the management in that too.
We are needing one or two experienced warriors on the pitch to organise and bully and shout at the young lads.
There needs to be an experienced astute coach amonst the managment. The present coaching team all the same age . Get some experience in.
