CELTIC DOUBLE SWITCH

1

CELTIC have had two of their forthcoming Premiership games switched to accommodate live TV coverage.

The champions’ encounters against St Johnstone in Perth next month and Dundee United at Tannadice in March have been moved from the Saturday to 24 hours later.

Neil Lennon will take his men from McDiarmid Park on February 14 in a league confrontation that will be beamed live by Sky Sports. The teams met at Parkhead last month where the Hoops had to rely on a late goal from Mohamed Elyounoussi to gain a point in a 1-1 stalemate.

On Sunday, March 7 the Parkhead outfit travel to Tayside for the second time in this campaign for a game against Micky Mellon’s United who gave them a fright at the venue earlier in the term.

It took another late goal – this time by £5million Swiss hitman Albian Ajeti – to make a difference in a welcome 1-0 triumph.

The Tannadice outfit are still waiting for their first goal against the Bhoys in this campaign after losing 3-0 in Glasgow just before the turn of the year where Ismaila Soro netted his first strike for the club with a whizzbang effort. David Turnbull and Odsonne Edouard added the others.

Sky live coverage confirmed:

Sunday February 14

St Johnstone v Celtic (12)

Sunday March 7

Dundee United v Celtic (12)
