CELTIC FOUR IN SCOTS CALL-UP

FOUR Celtic stars are included in the Scotland squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League triple-header against Ukraine and Republic of Ireland.

Defenders Anthony Ralston and Greg Taylor plus midfielders Callum McGregor and David Turnbull have been given the nod by boss Steve Clarke for the crucial encounters.

The Scots face the Ukrainians at Hampden a week tomorrow and take on the Irish three days later at the same venue before travelling for the third ancounter a fortnight today in Poland, current temporary home of war-torn Ukraine.

Former Hoops fans’ favourite Kieran Tierney is back in the 25-man squad after missing out through injury in June.

Missing, of course, is skipper Andy Robertson with the Liverpool left-back ruled out following his knee problem sustained in the Anfield side’s 4-1 Champions League collapse against Napoli in Italy last week.
