    St Johnstone were not far behind them. Different ref, same agenda.

     

     

    A team can only be as dirty as the ref allows them to be. They are getting so desperate now, they are throwing away the rule book.

    Managed to see the 2nd half – quality of passing and movement is a joy to behold. We have class and poise all over the park.

     

    No doubt was said earlier but one wee concern – 2-3 risky pass backs that left Craig Gordon in a tight situation. He dealt with it superbly, especially when he had to chip the ball over one of them, but my heart was in my mouth.

I have my doubts they could afford any one, let all off three, of those ….

    Still got the lurgy. Poor first half. Terrible referee. Missed having a forward. Bitton and Brown off the pace first half. Keeper weird with ball at his feet.

     

     

    But Bitton and Brown were not off the pace second half- really a different class from anyone in their team. They have three quick strong forwards. Oh really? Never got a kick or head against our defence.

     

     

    A really mature display from Celts in second half I thought. I might be feeling like death warmed up but the feeling walking out of Celtic Park tonight was a joy.

    That’s the problem. There is no money at all: their directors are pouring in millions just to keep the lights on.

     

     

    I doubt very much they could afford to pay off Warbs and Weary Dave, even if they wanted to. Presumably McParland the Super Scout would want cash too?

     

     

    Watch the press coverage – if they want him offski, they’ll get their poodles in the press to hassle him into resigning.

    Great win. Aberdeen are no pushover, but Brendan’s tactics wore them down in the end. We are sorely missing a recognised striker. The Bhoys are doing well but our penetration is lacking .

     

    That being said, what a genius our manager is, I have never witnessed such a leap in standards from certain players. Forrest, Rogic, Lustig, Izzy and most of all, Nir Bitton. He is fast becoming the top class player iIsuspected he could be.

     

    Thanks GG for the schadenfreuden moments from the tribute team. I was very impressed with that Jamie Walker? guy against us the at the weekend. Looks like he was on the top of his game again tonight.

     

    By the way, anyone on here have any information regarding a rumoured get together of Celts in Lisbon this coming May ?

    I really enjoyed the Celtic performance tonight. Wasn’t flash but Aberdeen set out to stifle us, nothing more nothing less.

     

     

    What I enjoyed was Celtic’s determination, never flustered, just kept at “it” and, sure as Celtic are the Champions, the winner duly arrived !

     

     

    We have a man manager, a guy who can spot a player and bring that talent out.

     

     

    ps How fit are the players just now.
