    Five fouls in the last few minutes that this referee didn’t give us.

    That’ll be the full time whistle then.

     

     

    Lots of unchecked fouls from them, lots of diving. Some nice moments of skill from us on occasion but a bit of wet blanket in second half.

     

     

    Decent in defense, no injuries and more minutes on returning legs and another final reached.

     

     

    Ps Ajeti took one to the face there. Nothing given. He’s still down holding his face.

    Great performance and exactly what I was talking about earlier. Come out of the blocks from the word go, build a lead then we have the right to take the sting out of the game and see it out later.

     

     

    People will complain we didn’t go for three or four but this was the game management that was missing last week.

     

     

    Comfortable win and the old Celtic showed up today.

     

     

    Credit to Duffy. Had his critics and deservedly so but was good today. Rogic makes a difference to how we play.

    Job done. Another cup final to look forward to. Unbelievable run from this team.

     

     

    There will be moans and groans from some quarters about the second half but Aberdeen are a decent side and for me the second half was about matching their effort and aggression and we looked much better in terms of our defensive shape. I think we needed to show that we could close a game out and that will have done the team a power of good.

     

     

    Delighted with that performance on the pitch and the ‘game management’ from the gaffer.

    Thursday’s exertions took a toll in the second half , which was a bit of a non event after that scintillating first half display . If we ever get to the point where we can produce that brilliance for 90 minutes we will destroy some teams , even some very good ones .

     

    Nice to once again have a choice to make for 3 picks for Jobo.
