So many positives. A special word for Nir, the lad strolled through the match and really is one our most important players, class act. Tom and Ryan once again proving they are big game players, especially at Hampden. We have finally turned a corner in the last two matches and I reckon we will get better and better. With, IMO, big Craig in nets standing between us and even more history with a 4th treble.

Since we have been regulars in European group stages we have always looked leggy in Sunday games after we play midweek. I think we forget that sometimes.

St Tams from earlier – quite right about Sponsors not watching the game they just picked a goalscorer – big Chris mentioned this at the end. Ryan made a great contribution but fir overall influence there where other contenders- which is a real cause fir joy.
I’ll tell you one thing,under Brendan Rodgers we would have went right at Aberdeen finished them off,with a few more goals in the Second Half,One thing Neil should have learned this afternoon and Big Sutton mentioned it a couple of times COMPLACENCY,which showed with taking the foot of the Gas ,wayward passes etc,Bitton had a good game this afternoon,but unfortunately when he thinks he is a really good defender ,that’s when he tends to make a couple of Mistakes,,but he is not the only one Broony can come in to that category to ,

Very pleasing performance. So many positives; players’ improved performance and collectively the team’s performance enhanced by a tactical shape which allowed us to be compact and protect whilst expanding at the right times to be on the offensive. Most of the basics done well today 😁💚
Refereeing yesterday and today- absolutely awful, yesterday was incompetence today’s- constructed cheating- biggest threat to this season combined with compliant press and media and willing footballer conflicted participants.
Aberdeen are stronger now than when rodgers was here.

Not sure what the longest run of trophies is. I’d have thought we’ve already surpassed it.
I’d prefer the 10IAR but if it’s to be 9IAR and 12 trophies in a row, I’ll be grateful to have lived through it.
60 minutes good / 30 minutes low energy and lacking that wee edge that makes all the difference.
Poor start / slow start but we have quality and sometimes it clicks.
Ludge MIB are turning it up to 11.
LF got away with half a dozen cynical fouls before he got penalised.
And then another 6 before he got booked.
RC — still a wee bit immature / sloppy / lacking a bit of focus — but still class and doing a lot to put pressure on the opposition in their own half.
ME also had a very good first half where we was a better defensive player than SB and CMcG.
SB — Did well but he is well off his best.
CMcG — Not what we need and very weak defensively.
Has a place in the squad regarding an AM role but as one of a defensive two he is just asking the other team to attack.

Timbhoy2- in his last season and a half Rodgers would have playing the ‘horse-show of oblivion’ pattern for most of the game. My memory of much of his tenure was being frustrated at watching centre back pass to centre back pass to full back, rinse and repeat.
Didn’t we have to beat Aberdeen in the last minute of extra-time under Rodgers?
The second half was the game management that we’ve been crying out for. Aberdeen threw everything at it and I thought we slammed the door on the,

NB @ CB — Not what we need.
Weak at times when he has time to think and over elaborates the basics.
Showed a bit of spirit at the end when we needed it.
However two schoolboy howler mistakes is 2 too many.
Needs better coaching and more work on his decision making.
Class footballer but still lacking some personality.
Call me greedy but I want 14 trophies in a row. And then a Scottish cup final against them to make it 15.
I’ll ‘settle’ for 12 trophies in a row and the 10. But I want them all.
Mostly though, I think we need to get back to one game at a time and racking up the wins in the league.

BBC Sports Scotland it’s a gravy train for all ex Sevco Players Thomson ,M,cCann ,Dodds,Naismith,and a few off them woman Football And Coaches,Currie ,McClean,McLeod,and the biggest fud off them all McIntyre,horrible man,,but there are plenty more who we know who they are.
Great 1st half Celtic. Purple patch when we looked a different class to them.
They flattered to deceive after the break & then when we tired.
Bain is sound in goal & our back line cope well most of the time.
Putting Griff & Alby on together meant that they couldn’t push an extra defender up front.
Great first half and good win.

Before the game today All Scotland (us apart) and Levein We’re on @ high that Aberdeen were on a good thing….Now they will all have to think again… especially The MIBs ….they’ll be having to revise their plans to stop us …..

Only saw the game from 53rd minute, very professional shut shop done. We would still be in the CL if we had performed similarly.
