Evening folks.
Where do you start to try to sum up a special night like this. 125 years anniversary yesterday. Special display by the fans before and during the game. Special display by the team.
Great organisation, hard work, a bit of luck, great goalkeeping, dodgy refereeing decisions (well that’s always a given :o) and the usual squeky bum time at the end as we hung on for one of the most famous victories in our history.
Hail, Hail, the Celtic Football Family, still making history after 125 years, and still going strong.

Would I be correct in saying that Barca now need to win games to ensure they win the group? Can’t be bad for us ;)
We have a tactical Maestro in charge of first team affairs and an incredible structure that has been steadily built up since Fergus brought the Club back from the brink. It is not rocket science that when one club has 60000 and another has 50000 supporters then the longer things go then the wider the gap grows.
I hope all those that have drifted away realise that Celtic have been seriously cheated and noone was more aware of this than the Celtic hierarchy. I hope they all drift back and we can grow the Stadium. ;)
I’m glad you worked that out Snake I was just sitting staring at the table!!
Bring on the Benfica…

I’m speechless at Lenny’s Young Lions as a former full back who played on the left as a right footer I thought Adam Matthews was magnificent tonight as was Big Mick, a true team performance, everyone playing for everyone else but the Celtic Support must be given a huge credit for tonight even on the computer I could see the greatest atmosphere ever at Celtic Park…

No words for how magnificent that performance was.
A year or so ago I said it was possible for Celtic to be competitive against Barcelona by running off the ball, blocking crosses, double tracking, covering back and they did all of that and much more.
Special mention for the goalscorers and for Fraser Forster but everyone in the team was magnificent in their application.
Giving 110% is overused but today it is justified.
We’re a score draw v Benfica (barring a Spartak miracle v Barca) away from the last 16 and unless Spartak get a result v Barca we’re at least in the Europa just now.
What a performance!
Matched only by the fans!
The atmosphere v Helsingsborgs was something really special, it was surpassed tonight.
60,000 and 13 heroes tonight, not counting all of the backroom team who also deserve the greatest of praise.

Group is shaping up very nicely. Barca now have to win the next game against Spartak to cement qualification, we may lose away to Benfica leaving it all down the the last games.
Spartak, having nothing to play for and never good travellers, will send a weak team to Celtic. Barca, regardless of their qualification, will not lose at home to Benfica.

Greatest night I can ever remember as a Celtic fan, and I am stuck at home, stone cold sober, and tired enough to fall into bed and sleep for a week.
Yet I am buzzing. This is what drug addicts must feel like shooting up …
Tomorrow I will write about this, probably a lot, but tonight I am just … blown away.
Magnificent.
