    Yes he said the ref got it spot on ,not going to waste my breath on Provan another former player who does not give us fair coverage worse than Walker if possible.

  14. Watching it again and I am a calm as a cucumber.

    None of these early Barca attacks have me concerned, unlike 2 and a half hours ago.

  15. Logical Optimist on

    oh what a night. what a performance. Our weans beat the greatest tewam in the world.

    and we had injuries to our first picks.

    Just realised what the choir sings at the very end of the champions league theme.

  18. big joe,

    I thought the sky panel were extremely complimentary and i reckon inside Gary Neville and Jamie Redknapp were wishing they had pulled on the hoops!

    I’ve always liked Jeff Stelling and he looked like he loved the performance, atmosphere and result as much as all of us

    Did I hear provan say the ref got it right when the guy pulled Tonys arm back?

    ==================================================================

    “Having a tug at Mascherano so the referee got it spot on” is how i remember it. Thats right Davie, the guy has just potentially scored a winning goal and powers through to beat the man to cement a win, only to somehow quickly decide before pulling the trigger, “Where’s that guys jersey?” and feign a free kick…..

    Question is, if no foul, why no booking for diving cos there was no way that the ref could have decided that Javier won the ball?

    It was a red card, and yet again Provan solidifies his character as someone, who if not biased, bitter or any other negative term that has been flung at him here an elsewhere over the years regarding his former *ahem* *cough* testimonial givers *ahem* *cough* club, then at the very least he’s far short of having any form of reasoned and balanced critical analysis.

    But of course we know that
