  1. Very enjoyable game. Celtic played well but it did happen in the final third.

Utd deserved something from the game, Jackie set them up well and they worked hard for it. Fair dues to them.

Sometimes we don’t win, but still happy to be a Tim.

  2. Neil has been allowed to spend nearly 5 million on two strikers who don,t seem to be up to it at the moment surely there would be nothing to lose by promoting one of the younger players.

  3. Is it no A Shame..

That .. Again.. A brilliant Individual Effort ..is the Means by which we get that Goal.

    An Predicted that scenario..

    And it Happened.

And it Happened because we Certainly Wid Never Hiv scored the Day..if we hid hid tae rely oan scoring a goal by a Well Worked Move.

    Face it Folks..

We need a Coach .. who kin Set oot a Plan of Attack .. fur oor Players when they are faced with a Stuffy defensive Team.

    Kojo

    Na.. Ah am No Happy..

    Relieved?

    Mebbe..

But, Ah am Soitenly NO HAPPY.

  4. 25% of fixtures done…unbeaten for first time in 10 years according to SS.

This team ain’t perfect but some credit due.

Playing to win till the final minute…the Celtic way whatever the quality of individual players.

  5. mungolian bhoy on

Lennon was ecstatic when he saw Mulgrew put that in. Unbeaten obviously means quite a lot to him Hail Hail

  6. I thought it was only the Huns who had a sense of entitlement.

Seems to be a few on here with it in spades.

We didn’t win a game, I can live with that.

Still glad to be a Tim

    Hail Hail.

  7. jinkyredstar cuts it back for Neil Lennon on

Would I have preferred 3 points – certainly

Did we deserve 3 points – probably

Is 1-1 with one of our better opponents a disgrace – no

Is this league a boring one horse race – not on evidence to date

Do we have to improve our end product – yes

Do I believe we will – certainly

Are we looking forward to Ajax – oh yes yes yes

    Hail hail

  8. Kojo

    “we need a coach..”

Are you suggesting Neil Lennon should be sacked and replaced?

  9. Too many spoilt Celtic supporters on here.

Delighted to snatch a draw with an injury time equaliser to maintain our unbeaten record.

I remember being disappointed on 5th November 1967 when the Lisbon Lions drew 1-1 at home to St Mirren. Yes, we even drew games then.

When I think of what my father went through as a Celtic supporter in the 50s and early 60s and some people are now demanding we win every game 4 or 5 nil.

I agree with you, and I have reservations about our lack of penetration, movement and pace of attack. Agreed with the poster earlier about Lustig going forward with the ball, appealing for movement/runs from the guys in front of him and when there were none, passing the ball back.

But when we get an equaliser with the last kick of the ball well, I don’t care how p*sh we played, I’ll be howling with joy.

  11. Evening Timland from a warm hun free mountain valley.

Had better days at the office, still unbeaten.

Kudos to Utd for trying to play football.

  12. bognorbhoy oscar in my thoughts on

    thanks for the updates all

    special thanks to GG

not the best performance by the sound of things .

    HAIL HAIL

  13. I think Pukki was a wee bit more involved but he was dropping back

I think, that’s twice in the same post, we need a striker coach.

I think, that’s three and a record, we should offer Henrik the part.

I’m sure we would all be delighted with that.

  14. mungolian bhoy on

    Fair do’s

Dundee U played well – mostly in defence. Dangerous in their break aways. Entertaining SPFL game. Quality was not bad. Fair result. Referee missed couple calls but not so many that anybody should be P…d off. Onward to Holland – Yea.

  15. kevinlasvegas Supporting Wee Oscar Knox on

I’m glad to be a Tim as well but i have never known a team with so much money and so little striking options. When we spend 2m we get a 2m player when you spend 5 you get a 5m player, not rocket science, Not too disheartened by today but our corner, shots and fk conversion rate really needs worked on, especially at home.

  16. googybhoy I for one am happy, we got a point and thoroughly deserved it.

For Tony Stokes today was one of those days that it just wasn’t going to be.

But for me that fact that he got into the positions he did and made the chances for himself is a good sign. Saving all his good luck for the Ajax game I hope. :)

  17. Why any negativity?

Celtic maybe didnt win today but they played this weekend I bet Rangers fans wish they could say the same !

  18. jinkyredstar cuts it back for Neil Lennon on

    Tom McL

25 Feb ’67 – on the road to Lisbon

Stirling Albion 1 Celtic 1 – not quite the Lions cos Yogi was playing

Freezing and got cramp after balancing in a fence for the whole game

Bonus was – I was in the background on Scotsport when Celtic had a corner :-)

We should have sacked Stein the next day :-)

  19. Neil….used pool today with mid week in mind.

Certainly deserved to take a point.

We really need to be clinical in final third, a bit annoyed.

Seems he agrees with CQN lol

  20. jamabhoy

I was disappointed with Stokes today. Not that he was bad, just that he was not just good enough to deliver that wee bit above the average that he can do on occasions.

In a game crying out for a bit of long range shooting just to unsettle a defense ready to clear crosses all day, a couple on target from Anthony might have changed the pattern of play.

Happy with a draw as Utd played well.

  21. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

everybody and their dug knew we needed a goalscorer at the start of the season

    IMO we still do

  22. Notthebus

Is that a Leading question..if it is

    Ah wull Shoot it Doon!

Na.. Ah am not suggesting anything of the Kind

    Ah said..”Neil,Needs Help.. ”

And Ah did suggest a Coach who wid be able tae set up a Plan ..fur oor Team tae follow

when they come up agin a Team who are Playing Ten Men Behind the Ba.

And .Ah think that Is a Fair Suggestion

Fur.. It is Obvious that oor Coaches ,at hand.. Do Not Have the Answer tae that.

    tae Mak Maself Clear..

No.. Ah Am not………n . Ah hiv Never Suggested that we Dispense wit the services ofr Neil.

    Ah like Neil..

    Kojo

    Still Unhappy

  23. I know that we can’t win every game and should enjoy honest competition, but we all know that we are desperately in need of a striker.

  24. DUSHANBE BHILLY BHOY on

    Big Mike,

    But does Hoopeman miss us?

Substituted at half time when Norwich 4-0 down and also seen at C.P Ajax game in the stand.

If I was in his shoes……I would be pining to come back.

Chris Hughton…. now there is one “jecket hanging on a shoogly peg”.

  25. Pointing out the shortcomings is not negativity. Some people need to get a grip. We want the club to improve. Our strikers are struggling. No amout if spin can hide that. It’s not negative to hope for a new striker in January.

    Sevulle67

  26. A well deserved point for effort.for Celtic today but we really had to work hard to get it,Utd pressed and defended well in numbers giving our forwards little space to work in,no stand outs today Izzy was probably our best player, but I think some players minds were on the Ajax game we were just to flat and not at our best today, still unbeaten though so not complaining

  27. Kojo

Not a leading question at all, merely a request for clarity which you have now provided.

  28. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Not the performance I was looking for before going to Amsterdam we huffed and puffed and couldnt blow Dundee Utd. away.We lack creativity we also lack a cutting edge.I am afraid that will cost us against Ajax and end our hopes of Europe after Christmas I would love the Bhoys to prove me wrong but I just dont see it. We need to get to the January transfer window and see who we can bring in but to reach the next level we need a creative midfielder and a predator striker if we dont bring them in we are going to be going backwards.H.H.
