  1. @Paddy G

I’m gonnae give my Faither an xtra big hug tomorrow

your thoughts probably echo most of this dear blog.

  2. Are those attacking Celtic fans for genuine opinions better supporters?

Being a fan concerned with issues surrounding the team and tactics does not make them enemies.

Why is constructive criticism and concern over team performance reacted to in such aggressive manner?

Fans were not just reacting to today’s poor display but the consistency of such performances.

I’ve only read back on this page and would say that I’d have Hooper back in a heartbeat! Cut-price deal, of course.

Paddy G – nice sentiments mate.

In what other aspects of your life would you be prepared to regularly part with hard earned cash to accept shite

  5. Not long in from the match , not a great performance but kept at it to get a point . Thought Dundee Utd played pretty good stuff and will be gutted at leaving Celtic Park without the 3 points but that’s the way it goes .

We lost games like that last season so considering the way we played I’ll take the point.

Just to finish off with , thought the referee was poor ,again .

  6. Paddy G

That’s what makes this blog and the Celtic family a cut above the rest.

I would have said, simply the best, but I didn’t want to attract some brickbats,

whatever form they take never having seen one in the flesh

    FourGreenFields supports Wee Oscar

Muir was poor. he bottled out of giving Gomis a second yellow, but he was equally bad for Dundee United, giving Celtic a couple of corners that weren’t.

  10. The ole Gazebo was mobbed out today!

I think we were all there to hear about BJMac’s winter league win at the golf last week.

Was in Charcoals for first time about ten days ago. Really impressed. They gave us free dishes to add to what we ordered. Was absolutely stuffed…magic!

    Fan-a-tic,

    Because that wasn’t the point.

Posts saying defeat is unacceptable, performance guarantees before attendance, etc.

I repeat if you wish a guaranteed win and performance to match your expectations then I suggest not following any team.

  14. Like a Charlie Mulgrew last minute equaliser, much appreciated bhoys. Mrs Rafferty passes on her appreciation too

  15. Today just proved yet again that we have no Devine right to win every game

We are far from the finished article and need people to play to a good standard if we want to win even in Scotland

We had too many today who were prepared to just go through the motions for most of the game

The chosen midfield might have worked if they had played at a high tempo and physically worked DU – instead we played far too often across and in front of them

We also lost far too many 50:50s to our opponents who deserve a lot of credit for taking the game to us as they did

Big AB need wingers or full back to get to the bye line and provide him with crosses if we are going to get the best out of him

Disappointing that we only began to do this once he had been taken off

As others have said we really need a creative midfielder and a penalty box striker

Both Stokes and Pukki want to play around the box but we need a finished article in there!

    Onwards to the Dam!

  16. TGSC

Show me a single post I have made saying I want guaranteed wins?

I have stuck to tactical points and criticised performances.

Of course an über tim like you has the right to tell me not to follow my team!

I admit fully to not buying the brilliant Lennon and his thunderous style claptrap.

We have a pool of very good players coached in a one dimensional fashion.

Our coaching limitations often leave us scrambling for results against lesser teams with a fraction of the budget Neil has.

KoolBa is excellent as Eurochamps says. It’s in the Candleriggs so maybe not close enough for you.
