Subs: Bain, Morrison, Lagerbielke, Phillips, Turnbull, Holm, Oh, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston, Frame

  2. Feyenoord have named a strong team. They’re going for this tonight. Big performance needed from us.

  3. I fear one of 3 things could happen tonight.

    We could get beat.

    We could get a doing

We could get a right good doing.

    Hope I’m wrong!

    C’MON THE CELTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Welsh in before Liegerbielke. Not looking good for the Swede. We’d be as well maybe loaning him out in January.

  5. Welsh’s starting spot is a curveball. Can’t say I’m disappointed to see him ahead of Philips (looks poor). But disappointed that BR thinks Lagerbielke isn’t viewed as a better option. Did we really spend (waste) money signing a player who is no better than Welsh (a player I’d hoped to be, at best, our 4th choice CH)?

Bain isn’t a first choice keeper, imo, so can’t argue with Hart starting. Joe’s not been as good as we’d like, but he made some crucial saves to stop Killie scoring earlier than they did. And he made another crucial save at 2-1 in Perth, just before we scored our 3rd.

Johnston’s form has dropped significantly since the start of the season, but he’s still a better option than Ralston imo (though his firm needs to pick up soon) .

Outwith CCV, Scales has earned his spot, so he has to start, so can’t argue with his inclusion.

Taylor is really our only option at LB, imo. I don’t buy into this theory that Scales should be moved out there.

I’d pick the same midfield 3. O’Riley is our best at number 10. Without Hatate, Calmac is our best option at number 8. Iwata is arguably the best option at number 6 (when playing Calmac further forward).

Kyogo is our first choice striker. Palma is our best available option out wide. So I’m happy to see them starting. The other wide spot could arguably be given to either Johnston, Yang or Forrest. Neither inspires me, unfortunately.

With such an uninspiring starting XI, it’s no surprise to see that the bench looks weak.

Will be watching tonight in hope rather than expectation 🤞

  7. An Dun,

So Welsh is a better CH,than the current Swedish CH.Voted best defender in Sweden last year.I don’t think so.Can’t even say its because Lagerbielke is not match fit, because Welsh certainly ain’t.Again BR with the CHs.

Bringing the 5 the choice CH in,just another one of BRs recent weird selections,of which there have been many.

lots of negative chatter on here before a ball is kicked , anybody got anything positive to say.

I had a lovely Thai pad Krapao for dinner 😋

  9. Liegerbielke’s decision making cost him two very silly yellows and gave away a pen against the same opponents. I don’t think he has too much cause to feel hard done by tonight.

In truth it’s a much of a muchness. Without CCV we’re up against it.

That’s true but if we banished a player for making a howler, particularly in Europe, we wouldn’t have much of a squad left.

Kyogo does not look like he is a happy man. He looks as if he is deep in angry thought. Defintely not the Kyogo we all know & love
