    Caught some of the Sevco game earlier

     

    Livingston were comedy gold

     

    The denied penalty was straight out of the keystone cops – livi player right through makes an arse of it, the Worrall does a pantomime trip, nowhere near the ball – the ref laughs so much he forgets to give the pen!

     

    However, be assured, the fix is in – do you believe the removal of NFL is a coincidence?

    I certainly haven’t forgotten how poor Celtic were on the 29th and how a determined but limited Sevco team , aided by a preposterous ticket allocation and a bent referee , took 3 points from us. Nor do I think it couldn’t possibly happen again , or that title number 8 is a given.

     

    I just can’t see what was the ‘perfect storm’ for them happening again especially with our striking options being considerably better than they were on the 29th.

     

    Not that I will feel relaxed until the league is won.

     

    However , my post was really a reaction to the kind of headlines that are trotted out by the media after Sevco win a dull game of football. Contrast that with the headlines that appeared after our rather dull game yesterday.

    GOALS GALORE 4 WEEK 5

     

     

    Good Evening Contestants.

     

    Week 4 saw some big movers, thanks mainly to Manchester Abu Dhabi City, putting 5 past the hapless Burnley, which meant double figures for those who played their Joker. Very well done.

     

     

    Not so well done to a number of contestants who picked the same team a second time in Round 4. Whilst every effort is made to check that this isn’t happening, it is the contestants responsibility to ensure they don’t pick a team more than once. With close on 250 e-mails generated every week, sometimes it’s not possible to check what each contestant has picked previously. As we go deeper into the competition, it’ll be more difficult for us to check each individual record.

     

     

    Difficult also to pick 12 games from next weekends fixtures, but a mixture of SPFL and EPL provide us with another dirty dozen

    I have been very pleasantly surprised by Young Olivers showings so far (Aidan said to me he was quality). He is a big strong guy as well – I had no idea about him but he looks like being a belter of a short term signing. It is sods law that the better he plays for Celtic the less likely Celtic can get a permanent deal for the lad.
