    Lets face it .Celtic are rubbish

     

    They play rubbish football on a rubbish pitch

     

    We have a rubbish manager (who is only here because even the rubbisheyest ream in the EPL wouldnt have him)

     

     

    Our players are rubbish and we win rubbish trophies

     

    Our CEO however is a shining example of what a good CEO should be.

    Don’t normally agreee with GB but banner yesterday was spot on. They had better prepare themselves for a PL backlash

    I would suggest Burke is close to first pick, we haven’t seen Bayo yet so we just don’t know whether he will or not. With Weah I would say no but still a bloody handy player and I’m glad we have him.

     

    So far so good re the new recruits as far as I’m concerned.

    (1) I don’t think there is such a thing as a 1st 11 pick. Is Gordon a 1st 11 pick or is Bain? Is it Lustig or is it Ralston at right back?

     

     

    (2) Burke and Weah are both being picked (1st 11 in different games) by the manager. Early to say but it looks like they are match ready and have quickly understood how we play. Looks like Brendan thinks they are ready to do a job. Does that make either of them a 1st 11 pick?

    Well Done Celtic Today.

     

     

    The chances being scorned had me worried that it wisnae gonnae be our day, with Hamilton nicking an equaliser late on. Very poor from Hamilton – so many times they had 9 players in their own penalty box – sad to watch.

     

     

    The Referee and the Northside Assistant Referee were getting excited for a wee while. Shocking Time wasting by the Officials.

     

     

    Oliver was most excellent when he came on. I’ve never really seen him play before joining us but he is a unit and has excellent pace.

     

     

    3 points on Wednesday please Celtic. I hope St Johnstone are a wee bit more adventurous given they have been on a good run – I won’t hold my breath. What Cheat is officiating this game?

    Referee for Wednesday is Greg Aitken, no me neither.

     

    Looking into his background, I see the following report in his notes –

     

     

    7:30pm – The guys head out to do their warm up and I check the pressure in the balls, and familiarise myself with the substitutes board.

     

     

    Guess he wasn’t at Hamilton when we last played there :-)

    St Stivs,

     

     

    The Great game against Sporting was memorable because we won, One of the Greatest games Ever for me when I was young was the 5-4 game. We Won but we lost. Win Lose or Draw is quite rightly the way to look @ things.

     

     

    Incredible that night – So incredible when we got home the English biased euro programme had decided to switch to see the Celtic game. Magical game.

    I’m confident Celtic will, as they always do under the Fantastic Management of Brendan, beat St Johnstone despite the Insidious efforts of a cabal of SCUM that are mean’t to protect the game of Fitba – Aye Right/Ready mair like.

     

     

    Pathetic and embarrassing – get real fitba people refereeing the games – working class I’d say. Never gonnae happen with the handshake brigade.

    It was good to see James Forrest getting a rest, he needs to be pushed to get the Maximum out of that Awesome Talent.

     

     

    Scott Sinclair had a very decent game but I’d be more inclined to say that Oliver Burke – despite being a sub – MOTM .

    Three games in after the break and we’re ten goals to the good with three wins and no goals conceded. Happy with that but sterner tests lay ahead.

     

     

    Agree with the sentiments expressed in the GB banner and posted similar after the summer window closed.

    Do we need a firsteam ready right back to ease the burden on PC Lustig?

     

     

    He’s been a good servant to the club and a top performer before injuries took their toll on him and his performances have suffered as a consequence.

     

     

    I like him and would still have him at the club for his experience and he could do a job when required but not two games a week which is often the case throughout our season.

     

     

    I would say it’s a glaring deficiency in our team that needs addressed especially if Ralston is out for the season . Gamboa’s performances have been erratic at times but it must be very difficult for him as he doesn’t seem to get a run of games.

     

     

    Hope we get someone in before the window shuts.

    Stockpiling players is the one Thing Brendan didnae want.

     

     

    Sick of Celtic Supporters being used.

     

     

    When Brendan is happy he remains.

     

     

    Brendan being scunnered means he leaves.

     

     

    It isnae rocket salad. The most important thing is he has put all the Best players on as long Contracts as possible. He is a hardcore Supporter. I hope Paul67 disnae rip his legacy too early in the future when all is Well.

    It’s a little bitter sweet regards Timo and Oli as it doesn’t look possible to keep either long term but I’d be happy if we get them extended to next season.

    PC Lustig gave the ball away way too many Times Yesterday. A cracking cross for Sincy to get a Headed Celtic goal – Rare was Fantastic. Howevaaaaah.

     

     

    The Broonstigator first touch was very poor all game.

     

     

    Callum wisnae MOTM despite the announcer saying he wiz. Noone wiz.

     

     

    Oliver was Excellent when he touched down.

    Some comments about the quality of the competition we have faced since the resumption.

     

    Is there a better way to bring players back to form after a break?

     

    Is there a better way to bed in new recruits?

     

    This gives Brendan a real chance to assess the strength of his squad, focus on improving any weaknesses and bring the players back to full match fitness.

     

    Being of a certain vintage, I remember the story that the great Hungarian team of the ‘50s used to play against amateur sides beating them by double figures and using the occasion to practice formations and build confidence.

     

    Which brings me to the story that Big Jock met Scott Simon one day and Scott asked Jock how he managed to have the Bhoys playing such attractive football with verve and confidence.

     

    Big Jock said that every Tuesday that had a game against a team of dust bins.

     

    Scott said he’d try that on his clodhoppers.

     

    A couple of weeks later they met on the street and Big Jock asked Scott how he was doing with the Tuesday practice games against the bins.

     

    Scott said they gave it up as the first week they tried it the bins won 3-0.
