I don’t need to sell my soul.

    He’s already in me.

    I want to be Edouard!

Good evening all from Benidorm old town. I fair enjoyed that show today. That’s why we all love the wonderful Glasgow Celtic.

  3. Doubtless, gloating hunned-up wee nasty’s dish was posted on the much vaunted Celteek noticeboard.

    Karma.

  4. What is the Stars on

    David 17

I loved Moussa but Eddy is really starting to show some very intelligent play.

You/we/One expect(s) the centre forward to score goals ( its taken for granted even though its the most difficult thing to do on a football pitch) but when a striker adds hold up play and exquisite passes ( set up Christie on Wednesday and Forrest today) well then he is special

  5. WITS

Hope Ryan proves to be a better Inverness player than his Inverness pal Stuart Armstrong. RC is trying his hardest to be a Celtic player. A joy to watch.

  6. An outstanding team performance and today’s exceptional performance goes to Callum McGregor who resembled Iniesta in his passing and movement. Hh

  7. What is the Stars on

    DD

Yup. Looks like young Christie is seizing his chance. Certainly looks a confident young man

  8. BRRB

I have never seen us lose in Bodhran Benidorm. Glad you got same luck. Good post match chanter too.

  9. I think Eddy coming into great form is fantastic. I suspect, but don’t know, Dembele leaving upset some of our black players. They were close. Not just because of skin colour but because possibly of language familiarity and beliefs. Whatever, they were bonded I think. Remember the car crash outside Cumbernauld?

I love them all. I wish it was a more perfect world where people, even sub consciously didn’t group together.

Supposing you were one of the now non existent gay players in professional football. A new player arrives and admits he is gay! Who would you sit with in the canteen?

I have seen umpteen programmes and photos of football, even nowadays the black players are together. Especially for me even with Celtic. Look out for it. Training videos, team photos after cup wins. etc. I’m not saying there is anything wrong, other than comradeship between likes.

I long for the day when we have a legend like French Eddy in our history books, and he feels as valued as a Lisbon Lion.

Please God that day will come.

Anyway, I think our other black players are getting over the departure of MD.

  10. What is the Stars on

    Gordon

Calmac is possibly our best/most important player at present. And yet 18 months ago he was on the fringes of the team.

Maybe next year Ryan Christie will be the first name on the team sheet……..after eddy of course

Just in from the game – what a great day; the place was buzzing; still can’t figure out OE’s first! Gotta watch it back. Big thanks to Colburn Celts ! sweet mother, i need me bed.

  12. DD, The depressing thing is how blatant it has become.

Several great things today in no particular honour, our performance, homage to Lenny, WAANFL and for a laugh Gerrrrrardds delight/ relief at sneaking a win today, your luck will run out son, soon, we are going to totally ruin your December.

  13. WITS

I remember hearing Ryan’s dad Charlie say that the biggest disappointment in his career was failing to make it at Celtic. Hope his bhoy succeeds. He is trying his heart out every minute on the pitch. Lovely to witness.

  14. The No.13 Shorts on

I hope Paddy Bonner, Joe Miller, Frank McAvennie, Andy Walker and their ilk enjoy their 30 pieces of silver. Scum-bags. When i look at a Celtic poster from that era they make me vomoit no less than looking at Maurice Johnstonse. Disgusting individuals.

  15. The choreography on the huddle today required a bit of work but those of us up the Celtic end got there in the end. Hh

  16. GD

My dad taught me to keep my heid down and don’t wear green. My mammy preached the opposite. The Fighting Irish in her.

  18. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

My son and I could not get to the game today due to a family committment. .

We can not score enough goals against that shower. Like most of us , I take great enjoyment in us hammering the maroon balloons, which especially over the last 8 years , we have done regularly with the occasional loss thrown in.

I was reading etims twitter before posting here. They have a tweet from a Hearts fan who was at the game today. He is concerned and annoyed at the increasing amount of idiots in the Hearts support with their reprehensibe ignorant attitudes and racist abuse.

  19. CMcG like Iniesta? Iniesta? Well RC must be Xavi! :-)

Loved how he tried to be gallus and noise up the minis! A young Ten Therty in the making!

Magical stuff these last few weeks! If only Oli had stuck that late chance away v Liepzig! But I feel a certain invincibility surrounding us just now. Think we could pump them on Thursday.

Would love to see DB and FB as our central defence for remainder of the season. However if Mourinho stamps his feet over Maguire in January then I think big Fil will be recalled. Dedryk is most likely offski. Id keep him til May rather than cash in for £1M or £2M!

  20. Dallas

Hearts mob seem to be hangin onto the coat tails of the hun extreme right wing mob, like their cousins in Ibrox.

Us and Hibs young team going extreme left wing. Interesting times. Who forms the middle ground?

  21. DD, when you were out enjoying yourself earlier on. I was trying to talk to Alisdair (McLean?) He suggested that between RC & ICT there is one more Timmy than the other. I was hoping it was Ross County. I used to have a wonderful work pal from Dingwall but we never spoke about football. It would fit my jigsaw perfectly if I could remember him as a Celtic supporter that I never new.

I was building a career at the time and all my spare time was taken up with music. Apologies.

  22. What a wonderful day & thanks to all who made it special for myself , brother & nephew, to Lennybhoy & his Coatbridge crew before the game in the kerrydale alongside 3 Feyenoord fans over to watch us play, NorrieM, CRC tickets & his Holy Water from Fatima

To the Celtic players for really putting on the agony & turning on the style plus also getting a winning bet up on the day as well . That was another game were we could have hit 7 without reply, Also met Onemalloy & his good lady plus a surprise at half time when Paul67’s Dad Martin42 appeared of now were to have a chat

It was just as Lou Reed predicted a perfect day & I’m glad that I spent it with you the the Celtic , With Our wonderful support in Our wonderful home

Think he was happy to be back to captain his team to an away draw in the big Highland Derby today. 2 month out injured.

I have always found Dingwall, Thurso and Inverness to be Celtic friendly towns with lots of Tims living there.

On my dads side. My Granda was from Renton.

*without the Renton the would be no Celtic as we know it. When Brother Walfrid sent John Glass tae the Back Street in the Renton he told him not tae come back with James Kelly, as he said way back then “no Kelly no Keltic” as he called us.

BTW I used tae go tae Parkheid with Andy Garry, Kenny Gribben and wee Tosh, they would get on the train at Dalmuir.

Glad you had a great day.

If I am not mistaken, I think I read that you are in for more tests tomorrow. I hope it all goes well.

  27. DD…

We have…Walk on, The fields and Grace that sends shivers up my spine everytime I hear them.

The hibees sunshine on Leith does the same for hibs and me.

The monkeys “from the west coast to the coast” just bastardise our songs or sing anti Celtic Catholic songs as their mantra.

Ps… I’ve many friends that aren’t Catholic that support Celtic, so I wasn’t being singular.

  28. Sometimes the third Album takes a band to another level. I think of London Calling The Clash and The Queen Is Dead The Smiths as two favourite third albums I still listen to every day. Brendan Rodgers third album looking shit hot.

Sipsini do they have any songs that are not hateful and racist? Answer on a postage stamp. ?

  30. This from Brendan Rodgers, in a polite manner, tells you everything you need to know about Hearts footballing skills:

The Austrian was already on a booking when he clattered the young Scot and Celtic’s gaffer said: “Haring’s tackle on Morgan had a wee bit more force than their needed to be.

“I can understand a tactical foul when Lewis is breaking away but I don’t think you need that force.

“We coped well with Hearts’ physicality today. We stood up to it and our football was exceptional.”

Agricultural hoofers, no more, no less. Like most of Scottish teams when they play the Champions.
