You would have had a field day in the BV last night. Wall to wall with women who were in for the karaoke Four Green Fields and myself felt marginalised. Funniest thing of the night was the old guy dressed up as Elvis, that and the two great grannies trying to hit on FGF ?? you two would have loved it ?

Was at Dens on Wednesday and Paradise today. Calmac ran both matches. The work he does off the ball, that TV cameras don’t catch, is amazing. His forward diagonal passing was crisp and accurate on Wednesday and today. Started most of our attack. Big Ben behind him helps too.
Not a failure in our team today.

The guys showed a real togetherness in the goal celebrations…and they seemed genuinely happy for Big Ben when he scored…good to see him settle so quickly…has given the team a lift…again we see the part confidence plays in the game…starting to look as good as BR’s season1…

Sadly both passed away and a both a big loss.
Big brother had been a priest in Dingwall and many other places up north

They had two other siblings another priest and a nun.
It seemed like every fan knew Big brother which was a surprise
but was assured that every
community event the priest and minister were present.
Everyone knew him and talked to him even Head of police who was one
of us but had lost a bet at semi so had to return for final

Never had a doubt we would batter them today. Didn’t get a bet on but I would have bet 6-0 if I’d got there in time.
Just wish CalMac had scored after his solo run, it would have been well deserved.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens when Scott is fit. Brendan won’t leave him out but it’ll change the way we play.
Good to know that domestically at least we’ve got a great replacement in Callum.

Listened to Michael Stewart and Craig Levein afterwards talking about Hearts tactics today. Both were talking absolute nonsense. Michael Stewart suggested Hearts should have engaged Celtic further up the park rather than the defensive block which they used in the first half. The defensive block is the only tactic that has ever worked against Brendan Rodgers Celtic at Celtic park. Yes, Hearts did start pressing higher after the break but by which time we had dropped down the gears. Had they tried that in the first half it would have been a cricket score. Hearts tactics did work to an extent in the first half but were undone by absolute quality. I don’t expect anything less from Levein who would rather eat hot coal rather than praise Celtic but i am surprised at the revisionist nonsense from Michael Stewart. If any team in the league wants to come to Celtic park and engage with us then i am sure Brendan and the boys will be delighted.
DD, glad you are on, hope you enjoyed the day. I loved that first goal from French Eddy. The build up to it. Where he was – a wee bit of distance – the angle – the amount of players in front of him. And in it goes!

There’s a touch of Jim Jefferies about Levein, remember after a 5:1 defeat Jefferies said it would have been a different game if they had scored first.
Hearts haven’t been the same team since they won the league on the opening day of season.

One of the most pleasing things about our recent “unslumping ” is the slow but steady coming to the boil of French Eddy.
He is scoring but also setting up goals with clever little passes. Hopefully this will continue and by the end of the year he will be firing on all cylinders. Maybe just in time for Ibrox on the 29th.

Hoping a player hits top form for a match two months away is strange. We have more important matches in between including a cup final. You may or not be fishing for a bite but either way it’s pure pish.

Obviously I am being my usual tongue in cheek self.
However the serious part of the post was the fact that Eddy is starting to once again look like the player we hoped he was at the end of last season and the very early stages of this one. Before injury and a dip in form struck.
The general consensus of Hertz fans is deal with the rest and draw against us. Unfortunately the last six days has blottered that idea, suspect Stewart’s comments are out of frustration on the radio today

How long will the “unslump” last ? On young Edouard there were stories saying Brendan thinks he is the best young player he has worked with … am sure Brendan has worked with a few very decent players, not saw a minute of today’s game but received one or two texts delighted about what they were watching… I said before the St Johnstone have somebody is going to take a doing from us (in Scotland) in now looks like nearly every team domestically could face that doing… if we beat Leipzig on Thursday we are level with them and actually sitting ok for Euro fitba after Christmas … who knows… but scoring goals and not losing goals is always good (domestically at least :-)

So is the order of the day in the Ludge in order to avoid 8/9/10.
1. Give them a penalty when the game is lost, evens up the stats.
2. Assaults on them is good, allow without fear of censure.
3. Allow them free kicks in non dangerous areas only, (shag at the goat dissalowed for failure).
4.Grant free kick to opposition in dangerous areas at all times, see point 2 ‘re censure!
5. Do everything fecking sleekit to try and make it look fair.
Am I paranoid or not paranoid enough. I am on the Sully so can’t decide.

Eddy will always be compared to Moussa. I think Eddy is the more talented footballer but Moussa was the more powerful unit. Horses for courses then and i think Eddy is more suited to the defensive tactics of our domestic opponents, something Moussa struggled against but of course he revelled when there was space to exploit.
