    After Ross County beat us in the cup semi a few years ago myself and some pals bumped into a few Ross supporters in a pub in Glasgow. They were very nice humble people who took great joy in supporting their team. They spoke well of Celtic as a club in general terms also.

     

    I was impressed by them

    Levein’s interview was that other hun puppet Jefferies all over the back.

     

     

     

    Like minds!

     

    I haven’t seen the Levein interview but was saying to somebody earlier , he is uncannily like Jefferies in his attitude. It would choke him to say a good word about Celtic. I’m sure he drinks vinegar out of his water bottle.

    Didn’t see the game today, but since he joined us, I have thought Benkovic is our best defender since VVD. Terrific player, who is only going to get better.

     

     

    However, I don’t think any of the Leicester first team players are on less than 40,000 per week. I am assuming we are paying a portion of his wages during his loan spell. But I Don’t think we can afford his wages if we signed him.

    evening bhoys, didn’t see the game have just seen the goals and brendans interview on the huddleboard, Edouard what can I say, calmac and my namesake ryan, not forgetting benkovich, great team performance and Brendan seems delighted at the interview, bring on the liepzig.hh.

    Not a bad week. 3 games and 13-0 aggregate wins. Big Ben was magic again today, in fact every Celtic player including subs played well.

     

    Cheatin Beaton was at it! No protection for our players and strange decisions all match. Surprised that Brendan does not call out the MIB’s and demand protection for our young players. KT and Lewis Morgan especially today were assaulted . Beaton didnae seem too concerned though.

    i find it difficult to find a feed when celtic are at home, no problem away games and sports net world show quite a few away games, on world,1,2 or three.

    I have generally found the Western Highlands to be a Celtic minded area. Many Celtic supporters in Wester Ross. Many in Inverness too. The North East of Scotland, I found it to be the opposite.

    In our 131 years of existence, as of Tuesday, we have only had one player called Edward, Ted Garry who was born in the Renton, he came tae us from galston!!!!, in his youth he played for Dumbarton Hibs.

     

     

    Ted only played 6 games scoring 1 goal before he was loaned out to Ayr and Stenhousmuir when after 2 seasons he was sold to Derby.

     

     

    He was with them for 10 seasons before being loaned out to Bradford City who were managed at the time by former Celt Peter O’Rourke and then to Dumbarton for another 2 seasons, after he retired he coached RCD Espanyol.

     

     

    The closest we have had to the name Edward in our playing staff since then are James Edward and Henrik Edward, if our latest Eddy is half as good as those 2 we are in for a treat.

    Another fantabulistic performance today. Great to see a goal scored direct from a corner. Many more to come from Benkovič I’d imagine.

     

     

    Rogic is just Rogic and there aren’t many superlatives left to tag him with.

    And the usual suspect brilliant as usual, KT, JF, Calmac, Bhoyata. Even Lustig looking like the old Lustig and Sinclair back to being Sinclair.

     

     

    Christie looks the part and adds another dimension lost when Armstrong left though I think Christie will be twice the player.

     

     

    Gordon doing a Pele looks to also be improving with his distribution.

    * I was at school with Andy (Mick) Garry fae Dalmuir, used tae converse online with him when i was working, he was in Norway at the time and then he left for Russia, I retired after that.

    When are Celtic going to complain about the industrial tackling our players have to put up with and the leniency of referees like Cheetin’ Beaton? There was a 10 – 15 minute spell in the second half where I lost count of the number of fouls committed by the mini-huns.

    Was in Inverness yesterday and had an invite to the Highland derby today.

     

    Declined as I wanted to go to Paradise. Didn’t get there until just after French Eddie’s goal but boy am I glad I made the effort.

     

    Special mention to CalMac, what a great performance.
