  1. Some of those commenting on here in the first half hour should take a look at themselves or maybe even take up another hobby.

This is football and not going to the theatre. One team is trying to stop the other from playing the way they want to.

  2. 🎶 Champions again ole ole.

    🎶Champions again champions again 🎶

    Champions again ole ole 🎶

    Brilliant Celtic

    Brilliant Ange

    Brilliant fans……

    Make mines a double 🍻

  3. Hey Andy Walker…..

I knew from the minute Ange was announced

that we’d win the league so to you & all the rest of the twisted guessers of the laptop loyal GIRFUY

Hail Hail to the championies ☘️

  4. It’s petty but very indicative of Sky sports coverage of us…

Their goal today was possibly off side, possibly not but it was tight. Walker immediately highlighted that Starfelt’s trailing leg played them on.

Two weeks ago, we had a goal chalked off against County and their defender had a trailing leg which possibly played us on.

Walker didn’t mention the trailing leg on that occasion but was all over it today.

  5. What a sluggish start from Celtic! After that Hearts goal I thought this was going to be a difficult day. But things turned out differently. No standout performers – everyone played his part. The much maligned Greg Turnbull and the lesser maligned Carl Starfelt and Tony Ralston all made fine contributions. All our players have certain limitations – they wouldn’t be playing in Scotland otherwise – the thing is to get them playing as a team. Maeda’s energy is incredibly helpful to the team and I think when Hatate gets a proper rest he will do the same. Some of the play down the wings was excellent today, especially down the left and especially when James Forest came on. Always happy to see big G score and of course Matt O’Riley really deserved his.

  6. Feel sorry for you guys who only get Sky. We’re lucky here abroad to get unbiased coverage from Celtic TV. Great chat today from Petrov and Hartson too.

  7. You really have to admire the guts displayed by this team over 30 league games. Every single game has been played under intense pressure. I think back to the away game at St Johnstone in December and the injury ravaged squad we had. We had a b team player replace kyogo if you recall.

Others and maybe some of our own won’t give us the credit we deserve. Fatty Boyd having a sly and incorrect dog about the money we spent etc F£¥& them. We know the truth. What a turn around, what a season and what a manager.

Ange doesn’t strike me as the type to rest on his laurels. He will know which positions need an upgrade and hopefully has an idea who the upgrades are. No room for sentimentality I’m afraid, so where better players are available then guys who gave their all this season will have to move on or settle for the bench.

Others on the books who are capable of more will need to up their game.

    I’m excited for next season.

  8. VERY well played Celtic.

In the end it was FOUR….Going on SEVEN or EIGHT !

To quote the late great Jimmy Cagney…..” Look Ma….Made it Ma….TOP of the League Ma” !

    HH

  9. Great to see us finish this season in style. It could have been 7 or 8 again today.

    And with style.

  10. Uncle Jimmy on

    Gilmat

    No offside from shy

    In other news

The sun is shining and the Celts are champions (almost!)

The water of life is abundant

    Drink it in, Celts

  11. SuperSutton on

He wasn’t MotM but by heck when we were in the doldrums at 1-0 down he single handedly pulled us through.

    Calum McGregor.

  12. SuperSutton on

He wasn’t MotM. But what a fantastic game he had. Been outstanding for a number of games.

    Greg Taylor

  13. SuperSutton on

He WAS my MotM. Not just for the goal which was class. But just before then 2 defensive headers from corners and one tackle that prevented them from scoring.

    Matt O’Riley

BBC Scotland? Run by Scots, Isn’t that where the problem lies? Run from London son…

*was always that way, FFS they lost the 2nd half of the 7-1 game tapes, the Big Mhan called them out often, labeling the hun that ran them “blue peter”

Then there was big fat george davidshun, “mcneiil to murdoch to jonstone, oh its intercepted by ronnie mckinnon over to big john greig who passes to wee willie henderson, if you catch my drift.

Hun bassas always were are and always will be, eff them naw double eff them we are the Champions and that’s all that counts the day

  15. Looking forward to seeing if Guchi can make an impact. Hatate and Maeda fully rested and settled in is quite the prospect as us a full season from O’Riley.

O’Riley by the way, he is something else. Oozes quality.

  16. SuperSutton on

The worst display today and not for the first time.

    The referee. Just GTF.

  17. Yipeeeeeee!!!

Many Thanks, as ever, for the updates.

A fantastic feat by our players, management and supporters. We, indeed, are the Champions.

    ****

Was following the game on CQN whilst watching 10 year old grandson playing 7 a side vs 11 year olds. A couple of Hun parents along from me smiling and smirking when we went 1 down. They’re no smiling now.

An insight into their mentality …. Ball goes through the middle and shot saved by their keeper. “Hand ball!” Shouts the hun. “That was their keeper” replies the other hun. “Well, you have to try for everything “ says the first yin.

    Huns……. What are they like!

    Hail Hail To The Champs

  18. Fassreifen,

I watched Celtic TV,and if you think that idiot, every cliche, commentator is good, sorry,I have to disagree.Mc Culloch is a fud.So bad, that I would rather watch Sky.Even that idiot was coming out with “Mathematically impossible” today.Total trumpet.

  19. Great win 4-1 Celtic

Walker 1-0 Hearts, why are a lot of our xs such pr…s.

  20. Trying not to be premature, but some of the midfield play today was beautiful, with Calmac,O Riley, and Turnbull.Mixture looked great.Maedas best game.Taylor excellent,CCV,never broke sweat,Carl, excellent,Jota, and whoever came on up front gave Hearts a nightmare.

Biggest disappointment from today, was how quick the ground emptied. Was everyone taken in by the “Mathematics”Guff. All that was,was to try and stop the party today, and they fell for it.If the Huns draw tomorrow,as if that’s even needed,we will be champions in our living room.If not,the 6,or 7000,allowed into Dundee will celebrate, instead of a full Celtic Park.

  21. Uncle Jimmy, from 2.22,see,you are doing it too.

    “Celts are champions,well almost”

    FFS,2 or 3 goals,oK,but 22,over 3 games,c,mon.

  22. Turkeybhoy. I wouldn’t diagree about McCullogh. I tend to switch off when he’s talking and tune in when Tom Boyd or (today) Simon Donnelly speak. Like I say, always thoughtful input from Petrov and Hartson in the studio.

  23. SuperSutton on

    TurkeyBhoy.

I was at the game and would have said the opposite. The number of fans who stayed for the final whistle and until the last player went down the tunnel was incredible

  24. Hearts goal was onside, because we got to see the angle near enough,VAR would have got.Carls trailing foot played him on.

Which makes a total farce of the Kyogo furore goal.No clear footage.Just get fekin on with it.

  25. Super Sutton,

I have been there when the league was won,and still been there an hour after. They stayed to clap the team, then headed out.

    Sorry,not a league winning celebration.

  26. Fassreiffen,

Agree, studio guests always brilliant but listening to that Fud,is horrendous.Simon, and Tom negate him a bit,but really,is that the best we can do.No one likes him.

    We are Blessed………..

Can’t quite take in what Big Ange has achieved in such a short space of time.

Can you imagine the collective spirit around the Club?

Amazing what he has achieved thru leadership and example.

    Blessed.

Something from the older cellar ce soir…..!

    :))))))))))))))))))))))

  28. My fekin whinge of the week.

    “Mathematically possible”

    G,rrrrrrrr.

  29. More mental strength from a team full of winners. A mauling of the third best team in Scotland by a long way under pressure that only increased after we conceded early on.

I still think we’ll win the league

  30. After a nervy start, the bhoys swept Hearts aside today with a brilliant performance. Some of the comments on here are incredulous. I couldn’t be more proud of Celtic today – what an achievement to win the league from where we were at the end of last season.

Matt O’Riley might turn out to be one of our best signings. The bhoy was all over the park today, winning defensive headers in our box, tackling, setting up chances and of course scoring a goal. Everyone played a part today and I hope the whole team have a celebration tonight. What can you say about Ange – so chuffed for him to come in and prove the doubters wrong. A class act.

Did Philbhoy blow his top today?🤔. All the best for wee O mate. 👍
