    Just back from Parkhead.

     

     

    Much better. Solid team though I’m still concerned with the formation. Too often when Hearts broke forward we were happy to leave 4 men up front. Better times have and will punish us for that.

     

     

    Izzy was outstanding and was ably supported by Stokes down the left hand side.

    I think Charlie’s height and ability at set pieces may be in his favour.

     

    I am a fan of Charlie & his ability to play in various places is a double edged sword.

     

    As a holding midfielder I think Charlie’s performances for Celtic have been reasonably good, but in a Scotland Jersey he has been excellent.

     

     

    PS in my team schematic, I would have Lustig in before Efe.

    Jungle Jim, I’m glad someone is sticking up for Efe. I think he only had a three day break after the world cup.

     

     

    Since the Rubentus game, when he arrived home on the morning of the game, some of our support always highlight mistakes he has made, some his fault, others not.

     

     

    A post was made on the night or day after the Aberdeen game, highlighting Efe’s contribution to the game and the positive he done was way more than any negative.

     

     

    He definitely needs a break. Hopefully Mikael or Matthews will be back soon & Efe gets a well earned break.

    After a tough Euro away tie it was right to rest players against Motherwell and play his best possible team tonight.

     

     

    The poor result against Motherwell was maybe something to do with those replacement/back up players and Europa/jet lag.
