Not long back from the Demo – just caught up with the blog – nice to see we are 2 up.
Good turnout – circa 3-4K. Met a few of our esteemed CQNers + their Minis (nice bunch of kids) and a few of the Wee Oscar Team (always on the ball – God bless them).
Very high % of Celtic Support but nice to see representation from; Dundee United and Motherwell (apologies if I missed others). Missed meeting KevJungle. :-(
Speeches were succinct – hopefully the point has not been wasted on the Authorities.
Very low Police presence – nice to see a large number of ‘Independent Observers’ in high-viz vests. Crowd dispersed with no problems and no hassle for the general public and motorists in and around the Square.

Thomson shoots for Hibs, Efe deflects it clear, Hooper nearly puts Stokes in, keeper comes out to clear, Charlie now to Stokes, cross headed clear, Emilio picks it up, Stokes shoots.
Crowd reacting. Saints must have scored. No confirmation from Celtic TV or BBC.
Corner to Celtic.
Charlie to take. Curls it in, keeper takes.

Near post, headed on, but Forster takes it. Immediately to Hooper, in on goal, but tries to set up Commons, but he misses it. Should have scored. Great chance.

Commons should have had the hat trick

Just dropped in to say…..
I’m not long in from visiting someone close in hospital.
I was at the Demo earlier and met some CQNer’s for the
1st time. Well done to Doc and his team for the banner.
The 1st guy to speak was someone from the – FAC group
he spoke well – thanks to him for that. Next up was MSP
Michael McMahon followed by the impressive as always
Jeanette Findlay.
The 1st speaker from the FAC group estimated the crowd
at between – 3 and half to 4k but, the crowd kept growing
almost until the Demo ended. I would say at least 5k.
He also said that there were some M/well and Dundee Utd
fans in attendance – ghood for them.
Anyway…it was a ghood feeling to mingle amongst the ghuid
fholk again.
Btw…I apologize for posting this during the – live updates :o(
have to post just now as I won’t be around for a while.
Let’s hope for some champagne this weekend :o)))
Hail Hail n God Bless
