The football, for me, is ruined by the constant petty fouling.
There was a great story about some US marines delayed en route at Shannon. They watched a big hurling game and were so mesmerised that they started up a team back home.

That is the problem when I save a name wrong the first time in my phone. Still better than just using the first name then forgetting who it is a short time later forever.
I always considered Gaelic football a “spiteful” game.
Because Association football was labelled a garrison game, it became a pariah in Ireland.
GAA football falls between the two stools of soccer and rugby and, for me, lacks a true identity.
I admire the athleticism of the amateur players and the skills involved.
Hurling, by contrast, is PURE class, in all aspects.

Absolutely delighted to see Chelsea getting a doing and a football lesson from Man Citeh. Oor Jose (canny spell Mourinho) deserves it after his treatment of that wee lassie last week.
one of the finest football performances I ever saw live was the 5-1 demolition by Man City of Spurs @ Maine Road in the snow around Christmas 67. Bell, Summerbee and co were some team.

watched the hurling, truly brilliant, the greatest game in the world when the top teams meet each other.
Highlight of the match for me was the superb triple save by the Galway goalkeeper. Reminded me of Paul McGrath’s triple block against Baggio at the world cup in 1994.

just to add, goalkeeper s in hurling must be crazy. the tipp keeper made 2 or 3 super saves in the first half also.

I remember going for a meal when a pup and ordered fish, it came with a big eye staring at me, so I put a napkin over the head of the fish so I could eat it :(

there isn’t a great hurling tradition up here in Donegal but I do try to watch when it gets to this stage of the championship. I think it probably is growing as a spectator sport.
My own interest comes from the 2013 final and the replay. Those two games were epic, probably even better than today.

Scott Allan prepares for his Hoops debut
BTW, much prefer City to Chelsea. They do play good football and don’t resort to all the cheap tricks Chelsea do.
I always liked their great team of Bell, Lee and Summerbell.

BMCUWP,
I’ve never been fishing other than up the dancing.
Is the priest the cudgel you smack the fish with?
Great to see City play attacking football against Mourinho.
We shall see how he deflects criticism from this loss.
5 points behind both Manchester teams already.

Aye that’s right.
What a cracker of a game at Croke Park from first minute to last. The speed, skill, catching, hitting and bravery was wonderful to watch. Cathach

That reply was for Sipsini :D.
Looking for a wee bit of advice.
Only started looking into KODI etc. but just want to make sure that I know what I am doing before taking the plunge.
I currently have a wireless telly, broadband, pc and xbox – what else do I need?
Do I need to buy an additional dedicated android box – or can it work on an existing device?
Do I need to buy an Amazon firestick for the telly – or is that not necessary?
If using a dedicated KODI device – can it plug into any HDMI slot in the telly – or must it be the primary slot?
Any advice or guidance is welcome – thanks.
