    Sportscene showing the caley goals from 2000, pathetic. Since that game, they have only taken 5 points from their games against us at Celtic Park since. Still if it cheered up their production team, they can smile.

     

     

    As Paul Larkin says, everything was done to put us out of business but we still won.

     

     

    I recorded match of the day 2 on bbc 1 (London) and watched El Cashico highlights. David Silva and Aguero, oh how i wish we had players of their ability. The two best players in England the now.

    Give him a break. ….Vincent Kompany played for. Anderlecht , as a 17 year old at Paradise,in the Champions League…..There aren’t many players that good!!

    Be good if the Denayer suggestions are correct… thought he really improved as last season went on.

     

     

    Anyone know much about the defender From Zagreb or the other one with Brugges. Would prefer to get one of them unless there was a chance to get Denayer permanently.

    Good Luck to big Virgil.. he’s been as good for us, as we have been to him. Mibbie time for us to cash in. Interesting to hear the grapevine re Jason… hmmmm, not so sure he’ll be back at Paradise.. Lets wait and see.

     

    Just on a wee side note… Over 35’s Five a Side Footy on a Friday Nights at Eastfield Leisure Centre in Cambuslang, (next to Trinity High School.. behind the County Inn).. great fun Ghuys, Good exercise and only £2.50 for the game and £5.00 if you want a swim and a Sauna as well.

     

    Friday Nights, 6.00 pm till 7.00 pm. (Although its aimed at over 35’s, theres no real age limit over or under.. Me? I’m 62 an just love the footy!!!). Gimmie an email if you want more info.. andyr53@btinternet.com.

    When he left Ibrox after they went into administration, he was asked by a tv reporter did he think Whyte had misled the sticky buns. His answer was I can’t answer that as I wasn’t an employee when Craig Whyte took over.

    On celtic underground twitter, brogan has tweeted stuff Duffield said about Scott Allan before he signed for us and then part of Duffield’s Sunday Post article today.

    For those in the Ballsbridge Hotel.

     

    Don’t go looking for a Celtic bar in the area that will show the game.

     

    I stayed there when we beat Lyons, Liam Miller’s zenith.

     

    The hotel phoned about 5 bars in the area before we found one.

     

    Even then some of the regulars were not too happy, as they wanted to watch, I think Liverpool, who were on at the same time.

     

    Thankfully the batman was a Tim and was happy to leave it on our match.

    GG – D4 district chief. Rugby is the sport of choice in that part of the world. EPL fanatics aplenty in old Dublin town as well – no doubt about it.

     

     

    Anyway, still one of the great cities of the world in all honesty.

     

     

    Some best times, probably the North-inner city the most mental pubs ever. The Celtic support is strong there, genuine Dubliners.
