I have to agree with you Wednesdays game is the biggest for Celtic in many years we need the CL in order to continue our progress and to continue to widen the gap between us and the deid team.If we only make the Europa League we will have lost a lot of income and to be beaten by such a lowly team as Shaktar will do nothing to enhance our reputation in Europe.     Great to see Paddy Gallacher back. I actually enjoyed game yesterday and never thought for a moment we wouldn’t score. Today I’m celebrating my 67th birthday, so what better a way than going out to cut the bleeding grass. But hey ho, that’s all us auld yins are good for. :))) Laters.

    I agree entirely.

     

     

    In reality the only REAL challenge for the Celtic management , at any level, this year was to qualify for the CL.

     

     

    If we fail to qualify because we cannot get past an outfit as poor, with all due respect to them , as Karagandi then heads ought to roll.

     

     

    In fact , it would be a failure of such magnitude that resignations should be tendered.

    Well I’m one of the new posters on CQN albeit well versed as I lurked for a long time before plucking up the courage to contribute , we all have our own opinions and different characters and this place is no different from any supporters buses or Celtic boozers I’ve been involved in over the years , I’ve witnessed numerous differences of opinion getting heated to the point of square go’s being offered , sometimes over the most innocuous of comments too , but their differences are normally tempered by their common affiliation and allegiance and that of those around them ….. my old man always insisted that I should never put myself down as there would always be people willing and able to do that on my behalf and when we take that scenario into the realms of supporting Celtic then we are all more than aware that we have a wealth of detractors who delight in downing us in the blink of an eye and should always be mindful of that ……. I’m a glass half full type and whilst there are aspects of the running of the club that grind my gears the main focus of my attention is the 11 men in the Hoops and as such I give my support unconditionally , any criticism of the team whether individually or collectively is saved for conversations with like minded folk socially and it wouldn’t be the the first time my views have been altered via healthy or even heated debate , nothing wrong with that and the same applies to here , debate your points with fervour Bhoys but always remember who we are and what we represent HH .

    Thats when it becomes difficult when debating off field matters that all relate to the teams performances.

     

     

    The happy clappers on here need to learn to be more tolerant when off field matters are being debated.

     

     

    To personally disparage someone you disagree with or more likely I suspect debating an issue they have no opinion on is to be intolerant. It betrays exactly what we are about according to our social mission and begs the question.

     

     

    Do these Ueber fans actually know how to represent our club when they trash our mission statement in writing and regularly ?

     

     

    The answer is a resounding YES and I feel it has nothing to do with anonymity and everything to do with social conditioning.

    Like yourself, I enjoyed yesterday’s game.

     

    It was one of those bizarre days… Under no real pressure & suddenly, somehow, we are 2 goals down. A lot of times that would have sunk us.

     

    We came back well & could have ended up with the 3 points.

     

    I thought Adam Matthews was immense & can see Rogic becoming a great Celt.

    I have very high hopes for Atajic, have been watching him closely recently, including in Berlin pre-season. That boy definitely has it and will be a superstar. His energy, intelligence, pace and movement are a revelation, and we need to bring him on and not leave him on the bench. He is a real prospect. Spoke to him after the match as he was leaving and said “you are doing great son, keep up the good work – and thank you”. He was very modest and unassuming and said thank you very much. Keep an eye out for him
