Big Amido has moved to a different country and probably is not fluent in the language and is more than likely still living in an hotel.
These are big challenges to over come before a ball is even kicked.
I travel all over with work and know how difficult it can be to acclimatize to new surroundings, Amido is only a young guy and does not have a lot of experience of moving from clubs in a different country and culture. This is why he must be given time to adjust.
The coaches will need to teach him to stay on his feet and use his physique to his advantage, the Scottish refs will give him very little and most probably penalise him.
A lot of people have bemoaned the fact that since JVH left we have not had a big robust target man, given time Amido may fill that void, let’s get behind him and he might do just that.

Thanks bud, got quite a few emails asking the same question and been out with few CQN lads for a pint a couple of times wanting to know why I wasn’t posting.
Negativity about Celtic is something I grew up with. The bad press, the biased SFA, the superior bowling club fannies ‘we are the peeple’ and for every fiver they spend we will spend a tenner superiorism.
That I could live with – they are now deceased and an ex club.
I struggle to listen or read constant criticism of my club from fellow supporters.
I have been known to pap people out of my car at traffic lights when they cross a line of acceptable constructive criticism and verbally abuse our club.

Got to thinking.
Why don’t we seek the services of Hartson or Sutton as a striking coach of the ‘take no prisoners’ variety. Balde could perhaps benefit from their wealth of experience in having achieved a succesful strike rate whilst combating the uniquely tolerated agricultural style of defending in Scotland beloved of the men in black with orange sash.
Money well spent I would say. Mind you, Hartson would probably just tell him to “hit the c**t before the fight even starts.”

Marrakesh express 11.36. I agree they are defo not huns but sonetimes I wonder are their positions so fixed that it is almost like they feel they have to defend no matter what. The guy who speaks about a sweedish laddie! a cert he called him for everything after debut and was screaming to buy another striker straight away and if he did not then plenty did. A ‘proven’ goalscorer still has to adapt to a new country, language, culture, team etc etc so no guarantee on an instant return. I often think that people who demand certainty of success might be better following the harlem globetrotters.

Have I missed something regarding Pukki. Has he signed? I think he’s very much the “has all the attributes just needs to put it all together now category” – he has the technical attributes but being in the right place at the right time is often something that is hard to teach if not natural.
