  1. Whether he is a hun or not is irrelevant, he is a cheat.

He is a SFA referee, now a poor ref, makes poor decisions that disadvantage both teams.

That’s not what we witnessed today.

  2. Just seen the 5 – 1 result…….well fancy that. Being top of the table is one thing but holding your nerve to stay there is another.

Referees don’t have to support Sevco.

However, they have to understand what their masters want…..all for the good of the game, of course.

  4. The MIBs this season thus far have been as bad as ever.

Thankfully we are just too good and the zombies are triple, however they have cost us a minimum of 10 points already this season.

Bring in VAR and we win the league by at least 20 points, whereas the zombie club finish mid table at best.

BT Sports offered to assist them and the authorities shit themselves.

Rat bassas the lot of them.

    I can’t wait for VAR.

Interestingly when you speak to other team’s fans they think Celtic get all the decisions :O)

One of the linos today is a hearts fan, he warned me about Dallas junior many years ago when they both came through the refs programme together.

Does anyone know the last time Salzburg actually lost a game of football?

    ——————————————

It was Thursday 13 December 2018. They lost 2-0.

  7. Just back from CP.

That was a very enjoyable attacking display and I would have given MOTM to Ryan Christie rather than Jamesie.

Despite only losing to a dodgy penalty, I thought we were exposed defensively a number of times. Overall, Lustig had a decent game but only Callun NcGregor was giving him the required rotection from an in-formand motivated Jones.

BTW- what is it with the diminutive referees in Scotland? The guy today and that Robertson fella would not be able to see over the tall grass at Tynecastle to make a decision.

  8. VAR will only be any good if thems who are wired up to the ref are impartial, else it won’t work, they will ignore blatant stuff when it suits if they are hand picked like the cheats with the whistles are, being a betting man that will be what happens.

  9. Not a lot of excitement in Chelsea City game.

Commentators discussing shirt colors and Guardiola’s “jardigan.”

It’s the next step, bring it on.

Sure there will still be some dodgy “50/50s” but it will cut out 90% of bad calls.

For certain the sevco goal midweek would’ve been ruled out, you can’t overrule the computer

  11. Watched the first half on the iphone while sitting on a park bench here in Denia while my son was kicking a ball about with his mates. Brilliant 45 minutes. Izzy’s link up play going forward is a joy to watch, doesn’t stop and pass the ball back nearly as much as KT. If I was BR, I’d be very tempted to play Izzy at LB and play KT in midfield ahead of SS for a couple of games – of course it won’t happen but I think it would be effective.

Saying that, Scott is a more confident player when Izzy plays, said this before after earlier European game when they linked up well. Not a bad dilemma.

Jozo did fine as stand in for Boyata, IF he can stay fit and keep his head together then he remains a very good CH. Fingers crossed on that one.

JF is player of the season. Full stop.

Well done Bhoys, December will be our hardest month of the season, if we are still top at the end of it then it will have been a good month.

Now Kenny Miller, you have the chance tomorrow to prove a point that the huns should not have thrown you to the scrapheap last season. Don’t fall asleep on the sunbed tonight.

At the time, I thought it was a foul (a soft one) but outside the box. Seeing that video, I still think it was soft (he was looking for it) but technically it was a foul, and on that view, it seems to be in the box, so a penalty was probably the right call.

  13. VAR will be an improvement with regards to the blatant big decisions but the interpreters will still be trained by the SFA.

Of course it will do nothing with regards to the SFAs new way of cheating which is the refusals to issue 2nd yellow cards and allow teams to kick Celtic of the park.

An improvement but no overall fix of the problem.

  14. Just back. Brill ghuys. Ref – usual pi**. Pulling Sinclair & others up when we were being fouled.

Nothing changes that way.VAR will be worth it but thete has to be follow-up & sanctions if refs make numerous blatant mistakes.

BTW – RS – ON was beibg fouled before pulling killie player back during our attack….its called advantage.

Anyway…Kenny Mi ….get a win for yer birthday.

    TET,

I was going to post similar re VAR.

If it was a queried penalty decision, then the integrity of the assessors is involved.

However, things like offside are more cut and dried.

I don’t think any of us would have a problem with Mr.( we are all in it together) Stuart Dougall, would we?

  16. Celtic were terrific in the first thirty minutes and blew Kilmarnock off the wettest grass in Glasgow.

Typical weather saw Emilio Izzaguire as an deputy for Keiran Tierney’s groin strain, dissimilar to Mikael Lustig’s mid week back fill, Izzy did his job and played Sinclair in time, and again up front. BR played his preferred side perhaps with the exception of Boyata and KT, Paul67’s ‘right to rest players’ was never more correct especially when weary legs Lustig even had time to score. a strikers goal.

James Forrest’s form remains off the radar, and his first time hit that shattered Kilmarnock was a peach of a finish, even in the form of his career, the super stooping wizard , has added another dimension to his game, never seen by supporters or any previous Celtic managers.

Ryan Christie the man that silenced the summer transfer cynics is operating in Armstrong’s role with less fuss fewer misplaced passes and a developing consistency running at a goal a game. The two Croat’s make a nice pair? and nothing much got through the middle, when Killie did come forward usually wide, Izzy and Mikael kept them that way, making them ineffectual.

Odsonne Edouard was immense in the first half, and having seemed to take poor first touch his second was a finish to savour. Scott Sinclair had a fine game backed by Izzy he never hides always wanted the ball and took out two Killie men at will. Callum MacGregor bossed midfield never switched off his engine, and makes Scott Brown look like a veteran., though Brown will be shoe horned in, for the Charles Green Dome.

    M.O.M James Forrest

p.s. Why did Kilmarnock get a penalty for a foul outside the box?

  17. Nick Walsh mibbees no a hun but teaches PE at Boclair Acadamy where sevco send their youth players hmmmmmm

  18. The Huddle-Thom

Of course VAR will be a good thing in so many ways, it may even train the referees mind a bit more when they know they are being watched.

After seeing that performance today my cynicism is in overdrive, it was shocking, for a bloke who is supposed to no be a hun.

  19. I predicted a 0-0 or 1-1 today ? but I also commented that Benkovic goes to ground a wee bit too easy so call it a draw.

    Great performance today!

  20. One thing we need to improve on is our straight line passing across the back.

When all your players are on same plain then any interception spells trouble as the opponent is immediately goal side.

Twice in the second half we got into trouble over this

The better European teams would punish us for such.

Also would like to see wide player come into centre and allow more variation on outlet pass or give full back space in front of him to bring ball downfield.

  21. I like many others are pissed off with the glitches on CQN that cause jumping screen on tablets and also the amount of ads involved. You don’t get sent off for giving away penalties these days unless it’s a dangerous tackle.

You could argue that Benković was due a 2nd yellow for giving away the penalty, though that would’ve been very harsh

  25. Great result Bhoys – think I was the only one at Stoke who stood and clapped when James MacLean came on – heard a good great boos

  26. Very happy day in Paradise thanks to my new mate EC67. Your ticket was very welcome and you have some good people around you there. I hope I didn’t lower the tone?

Great performance and even the pathetic performance of the vertically challenged MIB couldn’t stop an inspired Hoops display. Onto Thursday and a wee night with disco lights to look forward to.

Before then I shall return to the kitchen tomorrow, Spanish pork casserole is on the menu , perfect winter food with a nice bottle of Rioja to wash it down. Have a good evening everyone and no fighting!!

  27. Excellent result today, plenty goals and threat throughout the team, Salzburg drew 2 2 away against the bottom of their league team, on to Thursday night , another special night under the lights at Celtic Park
