So given that Aberdeen try harder when they play the zombies, are we in the midst of 8IAR tomorrow?

    …………………………………………………..

    I hope so Marc.

Dinnae care how or where we win this wan. It has been a very difficult Season from the start.

That sounds mental as we are on the cusp of a Treble Treble.

The old Internet disnae help much when all you have known is Success.

We need to re-energise this Summer, and if it is costly, we have to do it.

  2. Right , no nightshift for me tonight, even if I only lasted till 1am, pure lightweight as they would say.

Had a full day and tomorrow brings more of the same. Take care everyone. Hail! Hail!

I don’t know why Lenny isn’t using the loan players.

I think Eddy is struggling with the burden of leading the line, he is a young boy, this is his first full year as a pro. He is isolated, has little support, no runners off him and no other talisman in form to feed off and plays in areas with no space.

Rogic still looks off the pace.

Forrest, Ajer, Simo all ok today imo.

    Brown slack but ok too.

    Bain top class.

Sinclair trying but it is not happening, been a good signing overall but for me time to move on in the summer.

    Lustig & Izzy likewise.

Secure 8 and hopefully 3/3 then big, big job in the summer. 10 player turnover?

Manager situation needs to be resolved by June 1st imo.

Btw i think Lenny will get it.

  5. Celticrollercoaster......Hail, Hail Cesar on

    David17, hope u r good?

I thought Broony carried out midfield today! Tom starting to spark ( except for his first half moon shooting!)

Lovely that we are just about to wrap up 8IAR

Do you think Burke would do better leading the line ?

I think we have a huge summer coming up

There is 8 players out of contract

3 loan players who could move out

There is then a few others who may be moved on

Who manages this, is a major question ( hopefully not Moyes)

  7. I did not make the match today.

had an offer of a ticket, let my nephew down , by not going.

spent the morning at 2 other mathes with other nephews.

after health issues, i decided in my daft heid , i couldnt handle going to the game.

i drove up the gallowgate after the match, wnet to the ticket office car park.

    walked up the celtic way.

jeese oh i cried, the hail cesar .

Rogic maybe about to light it up just in time for the Cup Final…. Enjoy tomorrow night!

  9. It takes Big Balls to do what Lenny is obviously doing concentrating on the players long term @ Celtic despite obvious fatigue there.

Jozo has been getting better and better – If he can get back to when he was his best he will be a fine foil for Kristoffer.

  10. bluegrass celt on

I think a lot of us are unhappy because we should be blowing these teams out of site and not scraping 1-0 wins or 0-0 draws at home.

It’s also very plausible, and I mean VERY plausible that we will lose twice in one season to the new stickies on the block. Regardless of the league being tied up by then, that just shouldn’t be happening and I for one will feckin raging Should that be allowed to happen.

  11. ‘There’s a fairytale about this club.’

I cried most of the day and everything was so touching and professional. Then the game kicked off.

Our club is ours, magnificent, frustrating, exillerating and stubborn but we are alive and we all live it.

My God Cesar you cheated today 5 in 67 that’ll make up for all the pricks that cheated you years.

    Amazing. Beautiful. CELTIC.

  13. Stevie G – please slip up the morra and hand the Title to the Bhoys.

It would be remarkably ironic if Brendan Rodgers helped Liverpool to a Title Win.

If that happens get Stevie uncouth mouth G a lot of sedatives.

  14. God Bless The Celtic.

    Alive and still kickin’………….

A brilliant, beautiful Club like no other supported by us and our own with a passion and conviction unlike any other. They hate us, not just because we survive – wherever you look – we thrive!

    Thank-you Celtic.

I thought playing Olivier in the Number 10 role was Definitely the right move, putting Olivier alongside Broonie and pushing Callum forward seemed the obvious Substitution.

A now Good Friend said to me a while back that Oli disnae dae Anything coming off the bench. Neil unleashed Olivier and the links with FE were easy to see. Also easy to see we have so much Talent.

    Time to harness it.

  16. Listen up & Listen GOOD.

    CELTIC SONGS prominently @ PARADISE.

It won’t be a Rebel Treble it will be a Trrreble Trrreble and I hope we are focused on Hearts noo.

It will be a very Conservative Treble Treble – truth be told.

    Europe can wait?

  17. It’s been a funny season.

    Watched the second half there.

We were fine. Not brilliant. But not as poor as twitter and on here would’ve had me believe while trying to follow the game out and about. Killie are a tough side by the way.

We are in need of some fresh faces soon.

  18. Late on in yesterdays game Jonny Hayes BEAT MORE opposition Players in ONE MOVE, in front of the (North Stand ), than Scott Sinclair has did all fecking Season !

I wasn’t too happy that Sinclair started yesterday ahead of Hayes, and throughout the whole game, He didn’t take on and beat one Player, he didn’t put in any worthwhile crosses, and he failed to have any shots on target.

As a Celtic Winger/Striker I expect FAR MORE.

I did rate Sinclair until this season, but for Me it’s now time to say “Bye Scotty, and a sincere thanks for the great memories”.

  19. I am of a certain age group, and I have experienced many YEARS of Celtic winning very little or nothing, while the Hun were largely dominating Scottish Fitba, Fairly or Otherwise.

Some of the worse feelings as a Celtic supporter was watching Celtic dominating games against the Huns, only for that Mob to go up the Park and score…and then hang on till the end for the 1-0 victory, at least we could return to our ain folk in the Pubs and Clubs and drown our sorrows etc, without having to face any Gloating Hun fans……but then came Monday morning, and the dreaded Workplace, where contact and the long lasting Gloating from Hun “workmates”…. was unavoidable for weeks at a time !

Now the question is…” What “Times” do I prefer ?

The “Times” that I have mentioned above……..or the “Times” that we NOW live in ?

Yes, in the last couple of weeks especially I have had my wee rants at Sinclair and N’Cham ( for example ) on here, and at games and in the pubs etc, and our inability in recent weeks to “put teams Away”….BUT…I KNOW what “Times” I would rather be living in !

Many years ago, My Da Taught me that sometimes it was “Even Better”, to beat the Huns with a rather “Lucky” 1-0 victory, (when the Hun has maybe deserved at least a draw ), and the very same applies to beating ANY other Team 1-0….simply because it SICKENS ANY Huns out of Ipox, or within the SFA, or within the Ref Brothers etc….even MORE…. than Celtic winning 4 or 5-0 most games. Whenever Celtic have won games 4-0, 5-0, 5-1 etc, against the Huns , the Hun fans have always just claimed how BAD their Mob was on the Day, and completely dismiss how well Celtic may have played ? Likewise, when the Celts have beaten other teams by 4 or 5, the Hun fans would simply say afterwards,….. ” So what, that Hearts or Dunfermline mob were Crap, no wonder Celtic scored 4/5 against them” etc.

Celtic Folk shouldn’t forget of when Henrik was banging in the goals for Celtic, and for a while Boyd was doing likewise for the Huns, those same Hun fans would be quick at to dismiss Henriks goals because “He was playing against crap Teams every week…..but despite playing against the very same “crap” teams, Boyd’s record of goals is “Held Up” by the Hun fans, as if to show that Boyd was BETTER than Henrik etc ?

I KNOW who I would rather have in my Celtic team…No Contest !

My Da, ( like so many other Celtic supporters) went from 1957 and the ” 7-1″ Game….all the way to 1965 to see Celtic win another Trophy, when Big Billy headed the winner against Dunfermline in the Cup…That is the best part of EIGHT YEARS watching Celtic Home and Away, without winning any Trophies…My Da, like many other “Da’s” STUCK with The Celtic despite those barren years…and those “Dads and Uncles, Big Brothers etc”…were soon to be well rewarded for “Keeping The Faith”, as the BEST was yet to come !

That is why EVERY Celtic supporter ( including ME !)…SHOULD Savour and Enjoy what we are witnessing right now…a possible Treble Treble……once again Glasgow Celtic to be History Makers ?

Also, it is a FACT that even the GREAT Celtic teams of the 1960’s and 1970’s did NOT Play well in every game, and they certainly suffered defeats on occasion.

  20. Good morning friends from a grey but calm and dry East Kilbride.

We may be crowned Champions later today.

  21. ….and a good morning from Arbroath as well.

I am just getting ready to travel down for the game.

  26. terrible news, did not know him, but knew he was such a well respected ghuy on cqn, may he rest in peace amen,

  27. Big PAaky 1 –

Thanks for asking. A 1-2 defeat unfortunately against a Cove Rangers side who looked far bigger, stronger and street wise than EK. WEnt behind in the 2nd minute from a Big Billy-esqu header from a corner. Lost a 2nd midway through the 1st half, again a ball into the box and a towering header – it was a day for them!

2nd half was much more promising but it was deep into injury time that EK scored their lifeline.

A few of the guys at the game had, like me, made the mad dash from Celtic Park after the final whistle. And a few of them (but not me) have the same plans for next week – we play at Pittodrie at 12.30 and Cove Rangers’ ground is, I believe, 20 minutes from there.

Anyway, half 9 mass calling so must dash….

  28. Celticrollercoaster......Hail, Hail Cesar on

    God Bless you Stephen.

You fought a brave and strong battle with a constant smile and a Celtic heart. I hope you are now at peace and resting. It was a pleasure to be your friend over the last few years. May your family take solace in the knowledge that you are now resting and pain free.
