    We did enough to win today without being brilliant. Fantastic clearance from victor when it was 2-1. Saved 2 points which was absolutely vital after Huns getting humped.

     

     

    One negative. Thought the attack stopped functioning when Mo Bangura came on.

     

    So far he just doesn’t look up to the job.

     

     

    Overall a good day!

    Remember that Christmas Eve when we all did the Huddle?

     

     

    Just in, – wild and wet through the rapids of Dalmarnock.

     

     

    This was an incredible day, where I sat watching, Celtic fans watching Rangers on the TV’s at the back of the main stand, – then came the roar.

     

     

    A tight, tight game at Celtic Park and Paul67’s prediction yesterday was on the money, Kilmarnock are good side who made it very difficult for Celtic

     

    as the broke fast and loose, and caused us no end of problems, and in the end, we willed the final whistle.

     

     

    Sammi rightly takes plaudits, but this man Wanyama is screaming class as he mops up everything at the back, we went on easy street at the second goal and it nearly proved that even 2-0 is never enough.

     

     

    Celtic did well to win this game, but in poor conditions it wasn’t a day for James Forrest as Killie double banked on him, and pushing Ledley into midfield wasn’t a surprise or when Sammi headed for an early bath, after a fine double.

     

     

    I’d be surprised if todays starting eleven was changed next Wednesday.

    Jmccormick – I was on way game so didn’t hear the item however I think the Hun you are referring to actually works for Rangers doing their own in house commentaries.

     

     

    It would be the equivalent of Tony Hamilton being interviewed.

     

     

    In the interests of transparency Talksport should point out this guy’s connection to the Huns.

    what really made me smile today was this

     

     

    elbows got caught using his elbows, Sneaky Sally took off young Wylde to bring on Edu.

     

     

    4-5-1 up 1-0 with a lead to defend!!!!

     

     

    2 goals in a minute put paid to that, but its nice to see “Sir Welter” is still an influence around ibrox – this day just keeps giving and giving

     

     

     

    rangers dominated most of that 2nd half today and if Sally hadnt have been so negative, then maybe (more than likely) this day wouldnt have been so good – im having a beer now Sally and it tastes great, thank you.

     

     

    another thing that made me smile today and the commentators picked up on this too – aluko was thinking of going down again today, but the old 2 match ban thing obviously worked

    I have my reason for disliking Ally McCoist.

     

     

    I witnessed first hand his behavior at the height of his playing days when he was “amongst his own”, or at least he thought he was.

     

     

    The cheeky chappie image has taken him a long way since those days.he was even described by our old friend Shugster as a “national treasure” .

     

     

    I take great satisfaction that his Christmas has just been ruined.nothing would make me happier if Celtic go on and twist the knife on Wednesday and he is eventually hounded out the door by the hoards he was once adored by.

    It pains me to say this, but there is only one thing that will stop Celtic winning the League this year and that is Celtic themselves.

     

     

    Rangers as a club both on and off the field are a club in freefall.

     

     

    The downsizing has taken its toll, this squad does not have it in them to come back.

     

     

    I cannot see anything but a defeat on Wednesday night, I am a realist, not a defeatist.

    Re ‘Elbow’s appeal’

     

    I have just seen a replay on the main BBC news and it looks as though the actual contact has already been edited out- we see the build up and the Red Card but not the actual thump.

     

    Given that this is what the specially – never before heard of- boxing day appeals committee will see I predict elbows will appear on Wednesday.

     

     

    In fact I have a suspicion that if Rangers appeal then he may be able to play in any case as he can play until the appeal is heard – is this correct?
