Silly mistakes costing us again
Griffiths getting caught offside equals 2 goals needlessly denied. But to be fair to griff his goals are carrying us lately so he deserves some slack.
But as for boyata and Blackett – words fail me. Absolute dross.
Or get him in for the 2nd half!
Deila has made our team a f’ing embarrassment in Europe. Has been since he came through the door and I include his first pre-season matches. GTF Deila you are useless.
surprised he dropped forrest after he scored and looked hungry at the weekend . I know he’s been inconsistent but i like to go with players with high confidence. Ronnie been unlucky with injuries , however basic defending is lacking – think about that, BASIC defending – bread and butter!! They should know this when they turn Pro!
Ronny Deila suggested that none of the Molde players would get in this Celtic side. I’d take their two centre halfs and a midfielder at least.
It’s like giving European teams a two goal start in every game. The midfield mistakes are back as well.
trying to be impartial ….. an entertaining if somewhat scrappy first half …
as a Celtic fan …. cant keep shipping goals at the rate we are , and expect to win too many games ..

I feel sorry for Ronny, this defence could get him sacked. I feel sorry for Craig Gordon too, he’ll need a valium at half time with that shambles playing in front of him.
Teirney having a great game but his colleagues in defence are ball watchers with the reaction time of a man who’s downed 24 pints.
Should get Forrest on for Johansen, play Armstrong in his proper position.
Blackett and Boyata playing like they have never met each other. Young Tierney outstanding. Can see us scoring again but cannot rule out the comedy capers in defence haunting us yet again. MOn the Hoops!!

Wow, some right toppers on here tonight. Some slack passing from a good few people. Armstrong is covering tierney so he can bomb forward, hence why he’s not so prominent. Commons is supposed to be doing the same, he stopped at the goal and let the guy get the shot off, watch it again, I’m right. Track the player stop the ball.

The frustrating thing is, we should be 3 or 4 goals up on general play.
Strangely I don`t have that terrible sinking feeling of dread associated with another bad performance against European minnows.
Ronny has managed my expectations such that I really don`t find this H.T. result surprising in the slightest.
Horribly disappointing,but in no way surprising.
You`d have to wonder why our enemies in the Press haven`t been calling for Ronny`s head, and then the penny drops.

Look, I know their weaknesses, as do you. We don’t have great alternatives when Ronny refuses to play a more pragmatic system.
We owed last season’s success to a solid defence and centre-mid. We don’t have that tonight (and Jozo would have fared no better, despite the resident experts claiming he had an imperious 3 mins).
What we are currently seeing is the downside of playing harem scarem football. Who knows? We could be in for a Partizan-type night, but I prefer a more solid (that doesn’t mean boring) system.

I didn’t know that Ronny was employed just to make us a force in Europe or else face the sack. Having downsized a lot over the last few years it seems harsh on the man. Oh well, live and learn.

Can’t decide who our worst defender is. Very close between Blackett and Boyata but I think Blackett shades it. He looks like he’s never played football before.
Efe is a bombscare but he’s different class to these two.

Jozo injured early 2 chalked off, 3 or 4 clear opportunities, Tierney brilliant. Almost won us a penalty.

It’s like groundhog day… I saw blacket play for birmingham a number of times, and he was absolutely shite. In fact, he was the worst defender I ever saw at st andrews. Then he surprisingly turned up in man utd’s starting eleven, and was shite. And now he’s at celtic, and he’s still shite. Put him alingside boyata and it’s the stuff of nightmares.
TV showed a sign on the seat between RD and JC saying “not in use”.
Says it all for me.
Ronny’s biggest mistake is playing Commons. We’re a man down with him in the team. I’m afraid he gave in to the Celtic support on this one.
Well, on the plus side, we have a really good left back.

Signs of improvement? Hard to find. But hopefully we can find a way to win this game. Either way though it’s not looking good for the CL next season

Bitton and Johansen need to get their fingers out in front of those 2 centre halfs and not only be the ones that are on the ball but keep those 2 back defending and also offer them more protection.
Armstrong needs to get his finger out as well.
Midfield really need to get a grip of this game if we are going to pull it back
