I honestly can’t understand all the posters wanting Brendan to play with two up front against the huns, if he does we will lose, why cos we will lose the midfield, Murty will cream himself if we go with two, thankfully Brendan knows this and won’t play two up front, he may play Odsone as a link man, he may play him instead of Scott, but no way will he play with two strikers, it works Ok when we are up against teams that park the bus, I am all for it then, I would play with three against teams that park the bus, the huns have delusions that they are on a par with Barca just now, don’t allow that delusion to take hold, hump them hard and make them squirm.

OE just off the front for me, 3 at the back still means you can tool up with 3 in the middle of the park.
That still leaves the mid light imo, I think he will go with his T & T 4231, who makes that up is open to question.

When our players see that video and hear about the cheers emanating from their dressing room no other motivation should be needed. They are setting themselves up for an almighty fall.
As for the video itself, absolute cringe. Like when Mansfield draw Man United. We are they’re everything, it’s all about the Celtic.

The boy Goss is a deep lying playmaker, you want him worrying about Rogic and Rogic stopping him getting on the ball. Brendan will sort it.
Essentially yesterday’s second half was two up front.

Our keeper is my only concern

I actually think Brendan will go with McGregor with OE on the bench. McGregor is good at helping us keep the ball and he holds no fear going there. OE is a good weapon to have off the bench but you would worry about him getting a foothold in the game. I think BR will set us up to strangle the ball and control things, hopefully the crowd get on their backs. They may have confidence about them but that can disappear very quickly especially with the loss of an early goal.
It was, but as I said, it works against a team that sits off, or parks the bus, the hun won’t park the bus, we need to win the midfield first and foremost, that will allow us to win the game, go with two we lose the game imo.
I honestly can’t understand all the posters wanting Brendan to play with two up front against the huns, if he does we will lose, why cos we will lose the midfield,

No we won’t.
Becasue he’ll play the centre mid trio of Broon, Kouassi and Jackson.
The trio that blitzed Hearts and dominated Zenit for a game and a half.
The Damned haven’t got a player of the ability or class to compete with those three running the middle. Windyass will scamper about like a lost wee boy, Goss will wish he’d never left Bros and Halliday… Well, he’ll snarl abou tlike a classic Orc and kick a few Fenians to impress his grunting buddies in the stands with his staunchness as we keep the ball off them and pick them off with pace and guile as the 2 Gallic Ghostbusters up front ravage their festering zombie souls.
From the little I’ve seen of them they’re not bad in attack but poor defensively. Exactly what we’ve heard in our 10 games against them.
I’d go 3 at the back with Forest and Tierney wide in midfield dropping back when needed. Push them on and force their wide players back. Get the ball forward early into Dembele and Rogic.
Celtic 2-0.
Ps I’d consider playing Edouard as one of the 3 behind Dembele.
From what I have seen of them has every team standing off them and allowing them to play football, Hibs and Killie apart, they didn’t, the rest just stood off them and paid the price.
I am not going to second guess Brendan as I have no clue who is fit for a start, but I think he will go with a 4231.

Before Saturday I’d have sold your pool crest on 4-2-3-1. However, he’s a clever, calculating man who does nothing as a manager without lots of thought and lots of analysis.
Personally, I think he played 3 at the back yesterday for a reason, he wants to play it next week.
I didn’t see the game yesterday so have no idea how it was set up, I agree he is a very clever manager, thankfully he is picking the team and not people on the blogs :-)
I honestly can’t see us losing the game.

Hello Bhoys,
Just in from pub. What is this video being talked about? Can someone post a link please?
A bit of a thaw on. Well, in my back garden at least. About to start the working week with a healthy stroll to work. Doing the ole ‘10,000 steps a day’ challenge in March and it certainly was a challenge for the first few days. Should be fun in work today, being polite and cheerful in response to all the ‘rangers* are coming’ chat.
6 more sleeps.

Thursday 5th
The Welfare sent for me today to inform me of my father being taken ill to hospital. Tried to get me to crawl for a special visit with my family. I was distressed about my father’s illness but relieved that he has been released from hospital. No matter what, I must continue.
I had a threatening toothache today which worried me, but it is gone now.
I’ve read Atkins’ statement in the Commons, Mar dheá! (Atkins pledged that the British government would not budge an inch on its intransigent position.) It does not annoy me because my mind was prepared for such things and I know I can expect more of such, right to the bitter end.
I came across some verse in Kipling’s short stories; the extracts of verses before the stories are quite good. The one that I thought very good went like this:
The earth gave up her dead that tide,
Into our camp he came,
And said his say, and went his way,
And left our hearts aflame.
Keep tally on the gun butt score,
The vengeance we must take,
When God shall bring full reckoning,
For our dead comrade’s sake.
‘I hope not,’ said I to myself. But that hope was not even a hope, but a mere figure of speech. I have hope, indeed. All men must have hope and never lose heart. But my hope lies in the ultimate victory for my poor people. Is there any hope greater than that?
I’m saying prayers — crawler! (and a last minute one, some would say). But I believe in God, and I’ll be presumptuous and say he and I are getting on well this weather.
I can ignore the presence of food staring me straight in the face all the time. But I have this desire for brown wholemeal bread, butter, Dutch cheese and honey. Ha!! It is not damaging me, because, I think, ‘Well, human food can never keep a man alive forever,’ and I console myself with the fact that I’ll get a great feed up above (if I’m worthy).
But then I’m struck by this awful thought that they don’t eat food up there. But if there’s something better than brown wholemeal bread, cheese and honey, etcetera, then it can’t be bad.
The March winds are getting angry tonight, which reminds me that I’m twenty-seven on Monday. I must go, the road is just beginning, and tomorrow is another day. I am now 62 kgs and, in general, mentally and physically, I feel very good.
