The challenge on KT was an assault.
From my seat in the Jock Stein stand , I thought the same , in real time.
After watching the clip posted on here , it’s worse.
KT’s first touch resulted in the ball spinning a few feet above his head.
The Motherwell player had a split second to pick one from three outcomes.
Ariel challenge . He had enough time and little distance to cover. Or ….using the little distance between them , close KT space down forcing him back the way.
His choice was brutal and deliberate. Red all day long.
I hope his card is marked.
The differing views on the original post underline the abhorrence we all feel about the issue.
Not too keen , however, about shooting the messenger.

A horrible topic but a speculative statement.
I like to think the poster was making no comment of gratification although some might disagree.
I’d be confident the poster would rather it was deleted even though it was likely innocently made.
If this interpretation is fair perhaps we can all calm down and get back to our previous contentedness!

The Joey Barton story is quite something, a marvellous case of Karma if ever there was one.
Having signed for Newco he announced himself as ‘the best player in the league and that Scott Brown was not in his league’. Following our shock defeat to the Red Imps those who follow Twitter will be aware that he tweeted that he found it hilarious much to the monkeys delight. In his first SPFL match he was bossed by Ali Crawford and would suffer further indignity when Broonie destroyed him in a 5-1 annihilation at CP in September. That would be his last game for Newco after a massive bust up with Pep Warbiola he returned to Burnley.
Today he took the field against non league Lincoln City, nicknamed ‘the Imps’ ironically. Not only did he stamp on one of their players he also feigned injury in quite simply the worst act of simulation i have ever seen. The Imps prevailed today 1-0 in what was a huge shock.
Karma indeed.
A comfortable win today, with some sloppiness at times, but I will take it. Is the slump finished yet? :-)
Craig Gordon had a great save in the first half, but little else to do, other than a few comfortable catches in busy traffic!
