    as to the game itself, here is what I think.

     

    If we make the same type of chances as we made on wednesday, then we should score more this time.

     

    Moi and Ryan wont miss those chances again.

     

     

    I believe the manager when he says the 2 strikers are not ready. So his option is what we see on the park.

     

     

    My one wee worry, the goalie didnt fill his goal the way FF or Gorodon did, he seemed almost small.

    Honestly? I was scunnered enough before I heard what he had to say there.

     

     

    I might be crazy but did he actually say in that interview he didn’t even see the players until yesterday? Was there no training on Thursday? No analysis with the players? What in God’s name is going on up there?

     

     

    There was so much wrong with that interview … honestly, it’s been years, Tony Mowbray timeframe, since I felt so absolutely and totally scunnered as I feel right now.

    To be honest being criticised is surely better than being ignored.

     

    We are all uptight right now, this thread could go ballisti depending on how the game progresses.

     

    I have little doubt if we don’t win Lenny will be sacked,

    The trouble with the selection today for a home game against a team without a win this season.

     

     

    Even if we win or win well it proves nothing.

     

     

    We all know we will be winning in spite of the team selection.

     

    We have millions of pounds worth of talent that motherwell do not have.

     

    We could realistically play with 10 men for the 90 minutes and win the match nine times out of ten.

     

     

    The only defence I have of Lennon is that our two strikers are at lot worse than we think and he has seen serious limitations in training and bought a couple of duds.

    Whatever the reason we better win by a good margin today or he (Neil Francis Lennon) has signed his own P45.

    You thought we played OK the other night.

     

    But clearly failed to convert multiple chances, were out-disciplined yet lacked a dod of luck.

     

    Still want Lenny to prove the current doubters, sometimes incl me, wrong today with his lineup.

     

    But are a wee bit concerned by the single-minded conviction of his stubborn-ness…

    I take you at your word that Neil said he took responsibility for Wednesday’s selection. It may be semantics, but that sounds a lot to me as acknowledgement of a mistake. Regardless, it seems like a reckless gamble to repeat it, even against the league’s bottom team. We all hope for a resounding win today, but it will not erase the awful memory of Wednesday.

    The interview on RS would seem to be even worse.

     

     

    Does the club have a responsibility to save NL from himself?

     

    Somebody needs to take him aside and offer some advice / help / encouragement.

    You have the advantage of me in that I did not hear the pre-match interview. It is just starting now on Celtic fcpass.

     

     

    I just don’t think that interviews pre or post match are that significant in deciding the course of the match.

     

     

    You must be a masochist to want to watch a match which you believe we are doomed to lose.

    I remember when Moussa was injured, the snake played Sinclair and Paddy as strikers, switching to Paddy at half time when it didn’t work with Sinclair, can’t remember who we played but it wasn’t a great Performance.

    Here’s what I think Neil Lennon is doing: He’s doing what he thinks is best for Celtic. I don’t know enough about football management to form a cogent argument against his team selection or tactics, but I do realize that name calling only weakens my argument.
