I don’t usually post about my dad on here but I’m proud that he is an unrepentant Celtic man to the core .
He lives and breathes Celtic and has the honesty and pride to be one of us
He doesn’t pee hee and is able and open about his thoughts and love of Celtic
John Fallon a true Celt

Had 50 guests at the house yesterday for a BBQ ,it then confused into the wee small hours.
There was no way Mrs TT was allowing me to go to the match and leave her to do the clean up on her own.

Confused = continued.

Well said about your dad… I had the privilege of watching him in his playing days and he gave his all in every game.
One or two of them in the present team I wish that I could say that about but what is in the past must stay in the past providing all the lessons are learned.
Hail, hail to John Fallon, goalkeeper and true Tim. Thank you and your teammates for many enjoyable occasions. Ad multos annos. HH
E D B ,excuse my ignorance but what is your point,ie free beverage etc,me had nothing to eat at the match this afternoon, can’t be bothered waiting to be served ,out of that matchbox that serves food in the front stand.
Was going to post this doowap song last night, funny how things turn out eh

Thanks
I’m annoyed and proud at the same time
Another season over, another top of the league, by miles. Squeak bum at times, but we prevailed. What a woeful performance today, the team has done this on numerous occasions this year, but, not when it mattered most ie: Europe.
What a wonderful squad of young players. Look at the age of these guys.
Hopefully, a couple of decent older age professionals, can guide this team to greatness.
Ronnie had the right idea. No time to do it in two years. Probably should have been done 4 years ago.
Brilliant end to season, Cowieboy get yer ere back in there, do not leave them. They need you, you need them.

Finally decided that I have had enough of dragging this auld Timmy erchie around the garden spots of the the world….had enough of Port Moresby ,Lagos, Lome, Cotonou, Takoradi,Accra, Cabinda, Luanda, Aberdeen, Tulsa etc.
Time to enjoy the precious years mate!! Hoping to make it back home to Angus glens August / Sept. Will shoot ye a note if I get it sorted.

Paul, I’ve pitched in for the ads, any chance of keeping us abreast of what’s collected/what’s still required etc.
Ta muchly, we’re on the one road now.
Typo wonderful performance

There is no point. Just simply explaining my experience was entirely not what I expected having listened to your non stop moaning.
Moaning on here about your disappointment with how you’re being treated will serve no purpose. Speak to someone face to face at Celtic to air your concerns.
For many it would appear that simply whingeing on a blog will somehow correct all ills. Hello???????
TC45
make sure you let me know when you’re across my friend
Never been to a ML3/4ish Texan hootenanny :-)

As an aside…
There has been a debate on TSFM regarding oldco/newco Rangers v oldco/newco Leeds.
Now I very rarely venture to TSFM, a pale shadow of the RTC in my opinion…
Still the Newco supporter that was putting the argument, basically The Rangers liquidation was the same as Leeds United liquidation was vehment in his views.
Now it was not at all as I remember things with Leeds. Instead of sweeping things under the carpet as Rangers done, Leeds, once in trouble started selling to try to reduce the debt, starting with Rio of course.
In the end they sold all their players, their Stadium and their traing ground… well thought I’d check my “facts”.
So first stop wiki… In a way he was kinda right but not about the Risdale insolvency, Leeds did have a Club at Elland Road (oldco), but they were disbanded and a Newco was formed in 1919.
The reason oldco was disbanded… “alleged illegal payments to players…
“Leeds United’s predecessor team, Leeds City, was formed in 1904, and were elected League members in 1905. At first they found it hard to draw big crowds to Elland Road but their fortunes improved following Herbert Chapman’s arrival. In 1914 Chapman declared; “This city is built to support top-flight football”, but Leeds City were forcibly disbanded and forced to sell off all their players by The Football League in 1919 in response to allegations of illegal payments to players during the First World War. In 1919, Leeds United was formed and they received an invitation to enter the midland league…
Oops

Good post mate. Yer da really is one of us and you are rightfully proud.
Good Evening,
What a great day that was!
Thanks to the good souls who were in my team collecting for the Celtic FC Charity foundation on the concourse of the North stand – hopefully the foundation benefited from “badge day” as it has now become and that there are lots of people proudly wearing their 5 in a row badges tomorrow.
Great performance by the team – though I missed the first three goals as we were still dealing with collection duties etc but made up for that by seeing the next 4.
I thought Armstrong’s goal was a peach, as was Roberts ‘ bender and young Aitchieson slotted the ball away really well.
Thanks to all those who greeted me with …. eh ….. the usual “kind” words while I was shaking my bucket — Jungle Jim, Cowiebhoy, CRC and others including the amateur anthropologist who suggested that the reason my knees are gubbed might be because of my footwear! — You know who you are ya oul chancer!
As always delighted to spend the rest of the game with EDB and his daughter, Malorbhoy, Stephen, Janice, Danny and others — though I am increasingly convinced that Malorbhoy only gets out to Celtic Park on day release from the funny farm.
Big smiles today on the faces of Hebcelt and 67Heaven who at one point showed his whistling skills — he could have had a slot on the Good Old Days with Leonard Sachs — if you don’t know what I am talking about then look it up!
Excellent day all round. Sparkiling Football, Great Atmosphere, money collected for charity, great send off for Ronny and Izzy, Wee Jay and kids on the Park at the end, Big Erik quickly becoming a hero.
Yes folks, …… That was CELTIC ….. the proper CELTIC!
I know that there are Celtic supporters who feel they’re faced with a huge decision of whether to renew next season or not but I have to say my wee daughter was crestfallen today knowing that she’s got such a long wait before her next game.
John Fallon has ‘Celtic class’, played and supports CSC.
HH
BT,have met you on a couple of occasions and met your dad once,a lovely man and that’s Mrs TGCW view
You should be very,very proud.
Jeezo!!!
Nearly forgot to mention that smiley ACGR fella who gave me two special bottles of whisky to auction for charity — yer some guy Mick!
Oh and anybody interested in a wee soujourn to Lisbon in May 2017 please e-mail me on JJOE88@Hotmail.co.uk
I need to know numbers so I can look into this properly so am gathering “notes of interest” as they say.
Looking at the possibility of flying from Edinburgh on 24th for say 5 days (wed-sun) and having a wee party ….. or two!!!
John Fallon. Celtic Legend.
Lisbon Lion.
No wonder you are proud of him Blantye Tim.
Celtic’s goal scorers today were aged 16,18,19, 21, 23, 23 plus old man Lustig, 29. Also Kieran Tierney will be 23 and Jack Aitchison will be just 21 when we do “10 In A Row”.

ps do I paypal them to you separately?
Did big Erik give his medal away to somebody in the crowd at the end?
Looked like it but the camera panned away at the last minute.
That lad is going to be a player and a half for us, he’s going to be a rock next season.
At the top of my screen is an ad for buying a Sevco season book for next season
Wtf is going
As I said earlier a great day today. Reminded me of how great it can be to be a Celtic supporter.
I thought I’d boil the future down to 3 things that need to change to unite us.
1. Lawwell sacked. He represents a discredited past and failure. His contempt for the support knows no end. He has to go. No question. No debate. Gone.
2. The club needs to make its stance of res12 and cheating generally clear. No more bullshit. No more silence. An acceptance that it is wrong and a clear intent to tackle these issues seriously.
3. An admission of strategic failure. Moneyball. The board to say they screwed up and it’s consigned to the dustbin of history.
That’s it. We can’t get rid of DD so shouldn’t try. Bankier is such a tube he will destroy himself anyway. A new CEO may lead to further change.
Given all that has gone on these are simple requests.
We can then rally behind Celtic again.
One last thing. We can never again let this board or any other board behave like they have. They must be held more accountable. The club should seek ways to make that happen.
