Well done to the club for inviting Syrian refugees to be today’s mascots, a really lovely gesture.

Didn’t know that, well done Celtic, maybe there are fholk

inside CP who still know what being Celtic means.

  3. lefty can I stay with you tonight? Wife’s chipped me oot:O) HH ya big gem.

  4. great game really enjoyed it all the best to Ronnie, delighted for the young team and the youngest ever player to play for Celtic and score. Hail Hail Ronnie.

  5. That was a great performance and wonderful scenes at CP today.

I hope and pray we can wrestle co troll of this club from Lawwell and co and see more of this in the future.

    Enjoy your nights all.

Well done Celtic. Attacking football and goals. The Celtic way.

Big thanks to Ronny. Well done for introducing the youngsters. The next few years could have been really exciting. Unfortunately we will probably end up with a Davie Moyes – well known for exciting football and youth! Hmmmm – well at least he’ll be able to say “Old Firm” every sentence. Which will suit one club very well. Pity that club isn’t Celtic…..

Good luck for the future. Hope you find a club whose supporters appreciate your efforts better and aren’t as easily taken in by a lamb-eating, guff-spreading scumbag.

  7. Leftie

You’ll no be getting much sleep tonight I’d imagine son :-)

  8. Saint Stivs says SACK THE BOARD on

the big 5 on the celtic way today was magic.

in fact the whole celtic way experience in the sunshine is magic.

    get a fanzone developted next.

  9. HA Ha Neg, You are a right craic but you have a reputation to uphold. I know you are smiling,

I’d say Kev Jungle is smiling too even though his prediction went a bit awry.

Was at Marko McGenius 9-0 defeat in Paradise. Was at his 7-0 doin today. Never a Celtic manager.

    Sorry Kevj and the Tonald.

What a magical and emotional afternoon.

A proper performance of flowing football in the sun.

Seven great goals – scored by seven different players.

Jack Aitchison – lived all of our dreams this afternoon.

Ryan Christie, Stuart Armstrong, Kieran Tierney – what a future.

Izzy gets the armband on his farewell.

Ronny gets the performance and send-off he deserves.

But most of all, today’s mascots fled for their lives from Syria. If anybody deserves a day like today, it’s them.

Well done for that, Celtic. That’s who we are.

May the Celtic family always have the likes of

Neg and Kevj amongst us,asking the awkward

question, were rebels by nature the day we lose

    that we truly are done.

There was a magic in the air surrounding Paradise today.

Was a pleasure to absorb a perfect Celtic day in immaculate sunshine.

Like the good auld days in the sun. :-)

  14. Looks like I picked the wrong day to do that DIY I promised my wife I’d do for months. Well at least it’s done till she thinks of the next project. Life was so much easier when fitba’ was on a Saturday.

  15. Glasstwothirdsfull

That’s a great point fella and an issue that worries me a lot. The wise thing would be to get an upgraded Ronny with the cojones and backing to continue culture change in Paradise bringing through the youth and being more continental in our approach to the club. I fear a pendulum swing dominated by some belief that thems need a villain to lead us and we get an ‘experienced british-style manager’ in the vein that has been mentioned.

One for another day but surely today should be evidence…..

  16. An Teach Solais on

Just back from the game still elated from a fantastic all round performance

Really pleased at the appreciation shown by the crowd to Ronny and thought his speech at the end showed how much he cares for the club.

I wish him well in the future.

A great gesture by Joe Hanson to carry young Jay on his back. It brought a tear to my eyes. Great reception for Izzy.

Motherwell goalie very shaky first half but recovered in second half to keep the score in single figures. Onwards and upwards.

    ALMORE

Sorry I didn’t get to see you. I was at CP from 10.10am but with the hugh crowd lining the Celtic Way awaiting Tom And Davie carrying up the trophy couldn’t find the 1916 presentation.

Looked at CQN corner. No one there. Asked the CSA bhoys and ghals who stand at the northern rail of the northern entrance to superstore but they said no one about. Hope your flights OK. Can’t make Barca game for family reasons but perhaps at a game next season. HH

Thats a wonderful gesture by Bayern fans.

The fans are the lifeblood of the game.

Hope not – the bomb squad’s just blown it up.

  21. Picked a terrible weekend to feel ‘crap’. Buried my cousin on Friday, went down, down down on Saturday with ‘something’ and just surfaced in time today to see the Bhoys on a stream. My mate and I save up a quid every home game and head for Babbity’s for a post season meal and swally – first time in 8 years I’ve missed it. Postponed till next Friday night in the Swan in Eaglesham; if any of you are about you are welcome.

    Hail Hail

  22. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon today.

    Excellent team performance.

    Excellent individual performances.

Delighted for Ronny, and I wish him all the best.

One of the highlights being the look on Craigan’s coupon on the sidelines.

    GIRUY ya hun!

Hoping for an announcement regarding the new manager in the next few days.

McGhee still in with a shout.

    Kept the score at 7.

An improvement when he was last here with the sheep,

    HH!!

  23. Stuart Armstrong proved today what I’ve always believed…there is a great player there bursting to shine through

  24. On the manager front

I believe it is going to be Keane.

He wouldn’t be my preference, but if appointed will get my backing.

It might be wrong…. I’ve heard through mates and work colleagues, that profess to hearing from people in the know.

Thats not supposed to happen when LG is not in the team, according to virtually the entire SMSM led by Hugh Keevins, were supposed to struggle to score at all when LG is not playing and more likely to get gubbed. Egg all over their ugly coupons.

  29. Well done to Andy Murray on winning the Italian Open Tennis Championship today in Rome.

    HH!!
