  1. For my pal KOJO

If you’re lurking and I know you are, I hope you enjoyed this today, I know I did.

All the best my old friend,

  2. Nice to sign off in style. Makes you wonder where that was for much of the season…

Sad to see Ronny go, but would have been much sadder to see him stay. I think he will be a success elsewhere and it’s a shame it has ended on a low note.

Personally, I am renewing next season. Plus buying a kids’ ticket for ItaliaBambino.

    Brilliant Celtic

Hands up, I got it wrong for the past season, we don’t need a striker in the team :-55555

Play with 6 midfielders and another 5 on the bench

Then when in crisis, bring oan a 16 yr old striker to sort it ooot :-))))

    Hail Hail

Do you have irrefutable proof to support your allegation?

I accept that there is dissonance between the supporters and our esteemed Board (sarcasm) and we would all wish that the Board had been more proactive and spoken out about the corrupt game here but feel that there is a lacuna between what we know and your allegation so, would be interested to know how you arrived at your conclusion with absolute certainty.

Jack Aitchison revealed that scoring for Celtic is something that he has been dreaming off all his life.

At 16 years and 71 days the bhoy from Fauldhouse became the youngest player ever to appear in a competitive game for the hoops.

After two minutes on the park he became the youngest ever Celtic scorer as he netted with his first touch for the final goal in a 7-0 hammering of Motherwell.

“It’s indescribable, an amazing feeling, to make my debut and score with my first touch,” Aitchison told Sky Sports. “The atmosphere after it was amazing.

“I was trying to hold my position in midfield then the ball was deflected, it ran for me and with my first touch I scored.

“I thought to try and take my time but things were going at 100/mph and it went in. As soon as I hit it I knew it was in, I just started running, after that it was just a dream come true.

“I’ve dreamt of this since I was a wee boy, on the bench I was told that I could make history, it’s brilliant, I can’t describe it.

And we’ve to give him a warm send off. Useless, overpromoted chancer.

No centre forward in a Celtic team.

By the way I was in your much ridiculed, by you, South Stand for the Aberdeen game last weekend. Toilets were sparkling. The room my daughter and myself were in had lots of Celtic trophies in large glass cabinets. An impressive collection to be honest and we took lots of photies.

Met lots of people with Sharp Suits from both clubs. A very pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent selection of hot and cold food at half time, no need to queue, and of course free beverage throughout the day before and after kick off.

A truly wonderful experience that you’ve been hiding from the rest of us. The only disappointment was that I didn.t get to meet Cultsbhoy:o). Your secret is out.

I think you protest too much.

  8. Really enjoyed that game today, it was just another unique day in Paradise, where Celtic managed to keep the score down to SEVEN, for posterity.

Warm sunshine bathed the Celtic way pre kick off and the support decided that they were ‘turning up for the party’. Hoops were everywhere you looked, in the East end, the proverbial perfect day especially on the championee stroll back into Merchant City by Gallowgate, for Mark V.

Ronny had his day in the sun © TBB and sftb © got his informed and long predicted points ratio spot on. The happy Celtic support were treated to a great wee day, where and it seems to me, we’ve decided to go head to head with whatever, next season, the backing was immense and it is the young and fit for it, that will pick up the baton.

The Celtic side was well chosen, and suffered no ill effect from Ronny’s first pick absentees. Stefan Johansen was always better in a withdrawn roll, and McGregor completes the midfield gap, for now. Tom Rogic will flourish in the SPL and should be tied me kangarooed down bhoy. Patrick Roberts is a marvellous Peter Lawwell collaboration, albeit on loan.

Stuart Armstrong finally decided to get involved away from the shackles of wide left, he finally found ground more central, and at last picked his spot into the Celtic end, he remains a certainty to feature under new management recommended by Deila. Keiran Tierney got gallus with a goal, and his idol and mentor showed Celtic class with a touchline hug that will maintain the Celtic legendary ‘Izzy status.’ hopefully beyond his MLS move.

Ryan Christie was lively form the off, and the home crowd breathed a sigh of relief when he too, picked his spot in the west end, after his Sebo in the east. It was party day and we’ll never know how much Motherwell contributed on a day where Celtic had the midas touch, and goals were Celticky. and Brattbacky or clinical for DBBIA.

I liked Ronny Deila. I like EuroChamp67, I admire Peter Lawwell and I love Bobby Lennox, Hoopy the Huddlehound, and Resolution 12, the rest I’ve forgotten.

M.O.M Jack Aitchison, who scored for Celtic today, and was born in the year 2000.

Ronnie’s ship was torpedoed below the water line in the Cup Semi defeat by deidco, it was already listing badly due to some truly inept domestic performances (not to mention Europe) and his infuriating habit of continually playing out of form unfit players. That defeat was the final straw and there was no way back for him after that. Had we beat deidco I’m sure Ronny would have seen that as progress and not resigned – or been sacked. Anyway, thanks for the two titles Ronnie and good luck to you in your future career

Thank you for your kind wishes.

    Today’s excellent day changes nothing.

    Over promoted chancer he remains.

Suddenly, because he’s off, he’s a great guy.

    Don’t think so.

We have regressed beyond recognition during his watch.

Why else would a manager, who has won two championships on the bounce, be punted?

The standard of football, the constant failure at important hurdles and the lack of entertainment meant he had to go.

I’m glad I went today but, had I not had my son, I might not have…and I always go.

However, if you want to forget two years of absolute purgatory watching Deila’s Celtic, go for it.

Even on an excellent day like today I haven’t forgotten the abject failure he was as our manager.

    You enjoy yourself.

You told us Mark McGhee would show Ronnie Deila up today.

Marky McGhee was in charge of Aberdeen when we humiliated them 9-0.

He has now been in charge of a Motherwell side humped 7-0.

He should never be anywhere near a Celtic managerial position.

    Nice man that he is.

  20. Today was a brilliant performance.

But it was the exception to many turgid ones in the last two seasons.

Only RD will know the reasons his promise failed to materialize?

Was he a victim of difficult circumstances?

Did certain players hinder his ability to implement?

Did his slavish devotion to certain players cloud his judgement?

There are probably a multitude of reasons.

But today delivered on the promise and if this had been repeated more often he would still be here.

Today was a glimpse of what we hoped so lets hope we can build on this with our next appointment.

Ron leaves with our best wishes and a place in the history of our club.

Do you know where the new seat will be, or are going to the new safe standing section?

  26. Been a very long time since I saw as good a 90 mins as I did today, makes you wonder so it does.

I agree that Brendan Rogers is prob the best of those mentioned to take us forward in the mould of todays showing, but like they did when appointing Ronny, I hope they have been thinking outside the box and are going to appoint someone of the same ilk but an upgrade on Ronny, you know it makes sense Pedro.

And it would be nice if my second fav Spanish team did my fav Spanish team a favor and score to keep them up.
