That is the 2nd game I have Not been able to get since Celtic TV sorted out my Renewal (I wanted Overseas Ticket thingy) but they Never even returned my emails enquiring to change to that..
I think they Now think I am in UK as it says game will be replayed at 10pm..???

I don’t have that.
I would agree, a bit of perspective is needed. You can only beat what’s in front of you and we did turn it on against 10 men. However I thought we struggled to create anything until they went down to 10 men, and the same could be said against Killlie on Sunday. It’s seems to me that the players are still unsure of the system and the midfield is being over run far to easily.
One things for sure the confidence will be sky high for Saturday

Those that made the effort had a great night at Celtic Park, and witnessed a star being born. Super Swede Lustig was quite superb too, back to his very best.
Also, well done to Thistle for bringing a great support, must have been tough for them watching their team being humbled.

We’ve never had to wait long for a good/class striker to come along, and Guidetti’s the next one. The worry this time is a struggling Sunderland or Villa snapping him up with £5m loose change and 50k a week.

We`ve been crying out for a hero for ages….Guidetti looks like that man to me. If he stays clear of injury he will manage 30 goals this season no problem at all.
We`ve had very talented players before who would hide once the SPFL hammer throwers gave them a few kicks; Andreas Thom being a case in point.
Tonight Guidetti was on the end of a few Lasley-esque challenges that could have removed his legs from his body. It seemed only to fire him up rather than intimidate him and he got his revenge the best way, by rattling the ball into the net three times.
This is a guy who has character as well as talent.
Jimmynotpaul. I bring it on myself, I don’t mind, it’s a bit of crack, not convinced by ronny but the last few results will done do wonders for confidence. And a confident team goes a long way. I like gudetti though

The signs were there, I tell you.
It’s not about the money with Guidetti, it’s about convincing him to stay at Celtic and that we have a vision for the future in Europe, he can go and play in a better quality league all day long, he has the talent, can we convince him that our future includes building a team around him and VVD and CG etc.
There’s no point in signing Guidetti and then selling VVD in the next window, I think if we were building toward that kind of future he might be tempted to do a Henrik and stay if not he’ll be off I guess.
We do have that kind of vision don’t we Pedro, Pedro, Pedro I’m talking tae ye!

The game was live on Celtic TV. Reception was perfect. I used Chrome and turned off the virus protection for the game. It seemed to eliminate the buffering.
Professor Green…I agree the midfield does get over-run and better teams will exploit this. However, there does seem to be a nice team spirit within the team over the last two-three games.

I don’t see why it would have to be so earth-shattering. I know that Celtic have less freedom to make big pronouncements than we do as fans.
Merely confirming that the status of the new club remains questionable and avoiding all reference to past games against the club they claim to be derived from would be a good start.
There is no need for the type of comment that DD made about Rangers being a club with a long history. That is actively promoting the myth.
I do not expect my club spokespeople to make rabble rousing statements. They have to be a bit more respectable than that. But they do not need to positively promote the continuation angle by referencing past games against them. We will, each of us, have our own expectation.
I would accept something like. “Tonight we welcome a club from Ibrox that has worked its way through the divisions since 2012.”
or, a bit stronger
“This club is supported by fans who supported our former rivals from the club who were liquidated in 2012.”
or, if that is too strong.
“The club we face today are the subject of much controversy and it is unclear if they can be legally seen as a continuation of the club that used to play out of Ibrox.
” What would you accept?

I would accept that the inaugural meeting between Celtic and the new club, whenever it occurs is billed precisely as that inaugural/initial/maiden, I’m not fussy as long as a word meaning ‘first’ is recorded for posterity, and archived in Celtic’s history forever.
At the moment I maintain that when it does happen it’ll be away from Celtic Park.
However, if we concentrate on CP then I want Celtic to use a mind, to find the correct words. Like you, I don’t need Celtic to do a Gettysburg address or recall how it all unfolded, just so long as our children’s, children see that Celtic perpetrated no mythology about the club that passed, in 2012.
Whatever the presentation, or if there is something that can be referenced as a presentation, I doubt there’s much chance of you not actively going to CP.

TBH, I think Ronny is resigned to losing Virgil but he reckons he can get a few years out of Guidetti. ;))
It must be a Scandanavian thing, I certainly hope so.
I was always struck by Ronny’s firm view that Celtic would be competing in the Champions League next season, right after the nonsense that happened at Murrayfield.
