Signing event in Stirling
Joe Miller will be at Waterstones in Stirling tomorrow (Thurs) from 5pm to sign copies of Caesar and the Assassin, Billy McNeill and Davie Hay’s account of managing Celtic from 1978 to 1991, told in their own words to Alex Gordon.
Joe is a great character who worked under McNeill, Hay and Alex Ferguson, and now heads the Celtic Former Players Association. If you’re in the Stirling area, get along and bring your camera.

Biton carried on where he left off against the Tarts. Solid performance from him again. He gives us control in the middle of the park.
If we could just improve our return rate on the chances we are creating then we’d be much more comfortable in most games.

I actually enjoyed the game tonight. Our build up play was good but we were trying to be too clever with the final ball. It was one of those League games that you just say thanks for the 3 points & move on. You are not going to get 38 goal fests, there will be games like this.
As for the team playing out of IBrox HA HA HA.

I dont think it is a matter of us trying to be too clever with the final balll, so much as not giving ourselves enough space …. we camp on top of defenders, giving us no room to move or pass…. it is not easy to thread a pass through 3 defenders when they are only 3 feet away from you.
I think we need to get into the habit of making the final or penultimate pass earlier – before we hit the 18 yard box, and before we are standing on top of the last defender….
