First time we played Astana away I watched it in the Celts Well, best part was the wee yin taking photos of the walls and the roof then asking me about all the strips…. she kids on she doesn’t like football – Celtic, but am afraid it’s in her DNA :-)

  6. Big Packy,

Broony is one of my favourite ever Celts, he has had two bad seasons with us out of 10, injury & personal tradegy aside he has been magic, but Cektic will go on, bogged & better than Scott have been and gone but I for one totally appreciate what we have just now ….. maybe Broony could end up sweeper and play till he is 40 so we will cross that bridge when our captain does hang his boots up :-)

Don’t take the blog too serious, post if you feel like posting but don’t take things too personal… it’s just a blog, I have yet to meet Fairhill Bhoy but he/she is only pulling your chain

As somebody who has had already had a shoite flounce keep posting if you don’t agree post your disagreement but if not just use that scroll thing

  10. i'vehadtochangemyname on

thanks gerry – fab post , I needed to hear that. I’ve been concerned about it for a while now and seeing the cb recruitment issue over the last couple of seasons has just made me more worried but you’re right, celtic will go on broonie or no.great post.

  11. GERRYFAETHEBRIG thanks pal. my wife just said to me, dont stop posting because of one poster who does not like you, there may be other posters who do like you. and to fairhill bhoy .ve no idea why you do not like me but my faith tells me to turn the other cheek god bless you and your family.hh.

  12. Oldham,Oxford, imagine me confusing these two giants of the game. Its not as if we are not always talking about them.

Anyway,it seems me mixing up these two legends of the game,is much more important than the very valid point I was making about Benyu.

This site can be such a fekin waste of time sometimes, and no longer worth mine.

  13. Hi Bhoys

I see the BBC are still pedd

ling the £8 million Morelos myth never noticed this reporter’s name before Clive Lindsay sounds like a made up name for a blog or something.

    KEEP THE FAITH

If you have noticed the posts from Fairhill Bhoy ended with :))

He was not being serious, he was not digging you. You might not get his sense of humour but in my opinion he if he was having a pop he would have been blunt. In my opinion all Fairhill Bhoy is guilty of a dry sense of humour, his posts ended :)) he does not have a problem with you. I do not know Fairhill Bhoy but I know he is a good friend of Marspapa, the latter is a very good friend of mine, he has never said anything bad about Fairhill Bhoy.

If you want to quit the blog that is your choice but please do not blame Fairhill Bhoy or anyone else. I don’t recall reading anyone having a pop at you.

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

Your post was far more informative and far better

And by the way “we” don’t fit anybody into the team, think Brendan covers that …

  16. I truly appreciate Auldhied and cohorts efforts in bringing the Scottish football authorities to book, but at the end of the day,the board of Celtic plc are absolute shitebags. The new huns are sitting third in a league that they shouldn’t be in and they’ll be allowed to peddle the same club myth for as long as they are in existence. I buy a season ticket because I’ll always support Celtic but I despise the attitude of our board in the context of the huns. Business is business and in this respect we are the same as them, whatever makes a buck.

  17. Andrei Kanchelskis

    For the Russian press today

Zenit game against Celtic Glasgow will be one of the most complex of all games with Russian teams. I played against Celtic. Must say that their supporters create crazy atmosphere during the games. Seventy thousands fans give huge support to their team. Their supporters know how to give additional energy to Celtic players. That all will make the game very difficult for Zenit. No matter what the score, Celtic can keep attacking. If Celtic score in the first 15 minutes it will complicate Zenit plans remarkably. What will be the final score? This is not easy question to answer. I would say that Celtic will win with a score, let’s say 2:1.

“same as them” “business is business”

    So surely not ?

Got a feeling you are fishing ?

  19. Gerryfaethebrig on 11th February 2018 10:10 pm

They said themselves, the old firm makes money. If that makes money, they’ll follow that path.

  20. There are some rumors in the Russian press about Samir Nasri moving to Sankt Petersburg. I think it’s only rumors, nothing else.

  21. Gorbalstam

“They” who ate these they ?

Am pretty sure the rest of Scottish football have been threatened with the scary prospect of no Sevco no TV money….. BBC Scodland are barred fae Govan but fall over themselves for commentary at Firhilll but we do live in a country where the media appease, but I don’t think that’s Peter Lawwell or Celtics fault, our Peter only does what his boss tells him to do :-)

  22. ZBYSZEK , how you doing my friend we got a young girl in our sho,p. senga chernowski polish origin lovely worker credit to your country.hh.

  23. Gerryfaethebrig on 11th February 2018 10:22 pm

Gerry, I’m pretty sure you’re a good tim and I’m pretty sure when we’re there on a Saturday we’re on the same page, but the attitude of our board disgusts me. We have been cheated for over a decade but from a business point of view, it has been decided that we are better with them as an enemy than without them. In that context we are the same as them, we are maximising our buck.

  24. There is no way Scottish football could simply wave away the existence of a Rangers Club or their support.

Whether it was old rangers, new rangers or brand new rangers there was always going to be some entity calling itself some kind of rangers.

The idea that they would could or should have disintegrated like Third Lanark or even Airdrie is totally unrealistic as is the idea they should have been excluded from professional league football. It was in nobodies interest to wave away 500000 customers (lol) …..no viable industry would cut off a large part of their customer base and expect to survive.

The cheating, tax evasion, title stripping all that is an entirely different matter which the authorities should have, and needed to be, come down like a ton of bricks.

The idea that Celtic should have killed The Rangers is nonsense. They killed themselves.

And yet, there they are. We didn’t need to collude in their existence.
